Like I said yesterday, I think mom and dad favor IU, while Romeo favors Vandy. The disagreement between them is why there hasn't been an announcement, and they want him to take as much time as he's allowed before formally deciding.

Great news. Amazing job by CAM in less then a year as IU’s head coach and has managed to be in the conversation with one of states best player in years and a top 5 player nationally. Awesome job by CAM and staff to position themselves with another unofficial visit (possibly the final visit by Romeo) at the end of the school year. Keep building those relationships and whatever happens happens.

Why are we assuming his last visit will be to IU? I believe all three teams will get one last chance. Mr Langford never said who would get the final one.

I was thinking the same thing, I think the reason we feel this way is because I think it would have been mentioned if there were more visits coming.

To me that means his decision has pretty much been made already.  Doesn't sound good for us.

I suppose we still have a chance since he's willing to visit, but I'm going to have to start detaching myself from this recruitment.  I think we're about to lose an in-state blue chip guy to f***ing Vanderbilt.  Unreal.

Even if Romeo is leaning towards vandy at this point, it does seem like his parents favor IU. That being said if we do get the last visit I don't see why we can't blow him away again just like it seems we've done on all his other visits and then vandy and kansas won't have another chance to woo him in person

I've been reading this thread but i haven't gotten too invested in this recruitment. I hope he chooses IU, but i think its getting pretty obvious that hes going to pick Vandy. The recruitment is eerily similar to the Garland recruitment imo. Everyone made it seem like it was 50/50 IU Vandy down to the wire. That wasn't the case, It was Vandy all along. I get the same vibe here. I don't know if this recruitment is shady, but with the FBI report and 50 schools potentially being exposed, i wouldn't doubt it. If Romeo wants something extra, let him go to Vandy or Kansas. Regardless of whether we get him or not I'm happy with Archie and the direction of the program. I just hope we're clean.
