I'd have to guess that unless the coaching staff has been given some indicator that RL is no longer interested that they are in frequent contact with him.  Arch is a no-nonsense guy and has been working on developing a team with the cards he was dealt - I have no problem what so ever with him and his coaches focusing on improving the team, and any potential recruit should want it that way too.  After all, if a recruit commits and wants to be a part of a successful team and develop his own game, he would want the coaching staff to be doing everything in their power to achieve such.  Like mentioned above, we just finished a period of frequent games and RL came to AH not that long ago - I doubt he's lost any interest in becoming a Hoosier.

Honestly, unless we have an extraordinary finish to the season and deep run in the BTT, there will be more than enough free time for personal visits.

A friend sent me a screenshot of a post on another site that said this:

"When Romeo was signing autographs after the Jennings County game, one of the kids gave him a paper folded in half to sign. After Romeo signed it, the kid opened it up and had printed out "Letter of Intent to Indiana University." Romeo cracked up and was about the only time he smiled the whole night after scoring 63 points."

Thought that was awesome!

I’m not gonna worry about it too much, but it is odd to see self and drew continue to make visits and Archie not, if he is recruiting him as hard as we all think.

All of the endless speculation is over.  His babysitter from his early years said this was his favorite Sesame Street character so you can see where his thoughts already were at a tender age.

I feel like CAM is working hard on this team and showing what he can do as a coach. That’s something the Langford’s said they are watching. CAM is doing a great job, while Drew is using up his visits and not doing anything with his Vandy team.

Romeo visited an IU game, on his own, and gave a positive post visit interview, less than a month ago. I know when people say the same thing over and over again on every page of this thread that it can be easy to lose perspective, so just a friendly reminder.

Drew is putting all of his eggs in this one class. Unless you are Coach K or Calipari, taking the one-and-done approach is a piss poor way to run a program because you have to keep bringing in elite talent for it to work consistently. Even Calipari has regressed lately and Kentucky fans are getting restless.

Like u said its a one year deal for drew and it will backfire. Even with all 3 he won't win 20 games.

I would venture that 1 in 1000 might.  Romeo is inundated with IU fans, sees IU gear at every game he plays, hears it on Twitter....  If he knew, he would have committed by now.  There is no reason (if choice was definitely IU) to hold it. 

The fact that he hasn't committed yet is either 1)  It's NOT IU and he doesn't want the crap which would follow him around the rest of the season or  2)  He doesn't know yet.   I don't know anything.  No inside information at all.   But..I would trust that logic 1000 times before I'd believe someone who said for sure "it's IU."   

Now, he may end up being right....that Romeo will indeed choose IU, but that doesn't mean one bit that he knows something now.

When was the last time they both visited? When was the last time Romeo visited us? Again going to his games he has limited amounts. I would venture to say there is some level of communication that we don’t see or hear about. For the life of me I am not sure why some of you are getting so caught up in this. Now if he were in his state title game and we could use 3 more visits on him then ok. But he has as many as 9 games left and 5 or 6 that mean something. It’s ok. We are recruiting him as the other schools. I am pretty sure Archie and Romeo knows where the other stands.

And announcing there would also put IU back in the national spotlight. I think it’s a clear situation
