WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Its also a shame UK had to fall to its 3rd or 4th choice in order to nab Keion. That's when you know you've got recruiting on lockdown. Iugradman, HoosierDYT, DChoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

I hate it for Archie and the program when you spend 2 years trying to make this happen. Best of luck to him and hope he made the right decision. Who’s next? It’ll be interesting to see how he feels about Cal when Cal’s giving some freshman his spot next season Quote
Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 16, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 16, 2019 Coming on the heels of his announcement, this will sound like sour grapes or rationalization, but I made these same comments some time ago. He's a great player and would be a great addition to our program, but I'm not convinced it was the best thing for our long term benefit. We need players who will help us build our program back up and I don't think relying on 1 and dones is in our best interest in the short run. No animosity towards Keion whatsoever and I wish him well. RatpigHoosier, VO5, taco corp and 7 others 9 1 Quote
Popular Post pumpfake Posted March 16, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 16, 2019 Learning lesson for Archie. 5 star prima donnas will string you along and jump at the chance to play for an "elite" program. Screw that, go get us some players that aren't focused on their "brand", their "ego", and their NBA dreams but want to bust their ***** improving their game and winning games. HoosierTrav Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Let’s be honest: he chose the much better program at this point in time. We are so damn lucky to have TJD and the ones who’ve decided to come. We have a large hole to dig out of as a program. We desperately need Justin Smith to drastically improve. mamasa, Capt. Crimson and Iugradman 3 Quote
Bailey7878 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Thing is cal can basically can come in at the last minute and get these guys. The fack brooks keep waiting just killed iu. Romeo waiting helped us This was the opposite. Fred was right this is going to be a rebuild.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

We have 2 good players coming in and will likely get another. Sucks to lose out on Brooks, but losing to the best recruiter in college basketball does not say anything about Archie's recruiting momentumSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Deserthoozier, thebigweave and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 3 Quote
theriverpilot Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 No one in his home state will give a damn what he does from this point forward. I guess that doesn’t bother him. He will fade into obscurity a la Harris, Teague, Lyles, Wilkes, etc.His message might sound harsh but there’s some truth to it. There’s no real legacy to leave at UK like he could have at IU. But that is my wish, not Keion’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Iugradman and ray 2 Quote

Archie got the last 2 Indiana Mr. Basketball’s and people are saying he’s losing recruiting momentum. You guys need to get a grip and try to think rationally. We don’t get ANY of the current Indiana recruits the last two years with the previous staff. theriverpilot, Walking Boot of Doom, woodenshoemanHoosierfan and 5 others 8 Quote
