Nice decisive victory. Love the defensive effort. Like others, I am slightly skeptical given the opponent is not known for having much stick offensively. Overall improvement in many areas, including their best yet (that I've watched) protecting the ball. Keep working hard boys, keep making improvements each game.

It looked to me like the effort was better although against a lesser opponent. The somewhat selfish play at times is still disturbing. These are still the same players who were considered a top 15 team before the season started so there is still hope.

That pre-season rating was pretty delusional. Sadly this team is going nowhere and we need to brace ourselves for another disappointing season.

Late to the party. Nice win. I have said all year we are a different (better) team at home.

Much better defensive effort and effort in general.

We actually saw some progress tonight which is a welcome sight.

Max was my MVP----hustles and plays smart.

Overall--I was pleased but I am not going to get too excited until we show this effort in a road game or beat a better team.

"Last 12-13 minutes we were on fumes" then why play the starters to the very last minute?

Maybe to get them into better shape when they'll have to bring that defensive intensity into bigger games?

Idk man I feel like they are already the best in shape team in the big ten. I think it has more to do with why they flame out towards the end of the year.

Could be.  I was just trying to find a reason lol.

What a roller coaster at the start...it looked like "here we go again" the first few minutes. Then the team we've all expected showed up.

Now we have to see if we can do this against a real team.

And, frankly, we'll need more than an 8-man rotation (I know OG played, but not much when it counted and what did he accomplish when out there against a weak opponent?) to prosper in the B1G.

I am encouraged but not convinced.

This is probably not the place to post this but I'm taking my wife's 96 yo grandfather to the McNeese game on Saturday. Just the two of us. He has never been AH. I took him to Hinkle two years. He's a big sports fan. Follows lots of Indiana teams, and I really wanted to take him for his birthday. Turns 97 later this month. Mind still going strong, body, less so. Anyway, wanted to take him to a classic B-town restaurant. He is a retired Presbyterian minister so bar scene and alcohol not really options. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Life long IU fan but never went to IU for school. Thanks for any input. Mods, if I need to move this just let me know.
