That was exciting. I'm sure no one turned it off for the Big Ten Championship game.

Large step forward defensively. Wish it would have sustained for the whole game but for the majority of it it was nice to finally see. It's really really hard for me to find something positive in anything coach does anymore but the team was prepared for this one for the most part.

Happy with the increased intensity on defense. Still skeptical till we do it again against a good team.

I'm starting to think it's a problem with Priller. I'm torn between a gypsy curse preventing him from being able to play before the last 2 minutes without risk of dying or him being something inhuman and gremlinesque making him a danger to the fans if he plays before the last 2 minutes.

Yeah, I'm thinking he isn't human too. Is it like, a pod people kind of thing? Or like an Arquillian or what? He's not one of those lame Star Trek aliens who looks the same as regular people but trust us we're on a different planet right? That would not be good for recruiting.

Well the effort was there on defense, which was good to see, although that was a bad offensive team so it's hard to draw more than that from it.

Probably to keep a good gap and make it look like a better win then what it is. That is about all I can come up with.

Better defensive effort for the majority of the game.  It was nice to see players in a proper defensive stance, help side rotating and then getting back to their man, and getting more boards.  There still needs to be a ton of work done in this area.  I didn't like Troy and JBJ trying to get theirs midway through the second half.  When they stop moving the ball and go one on one without looking for open teammates our offense is garbage.  Better effort and execution.

It looked to me like the effort was better although against a lesser opponent. The somewhat selfish play at times is still disturbing. These are still the same players who were considered a top 15 team before the season started so there is still hope.
