Horrible play call at the end. Howard is the only player on the field that should have gotten the ball.

Still can't get over the hump. The effort and game plan is there. Execution on defense has been turrible. Liked to see the team stay focused after some WTF calls by that crew.

Wilson tried getting cute with the play calling with the QB keeper.  Michigan had struggle to stop our heavy run formations, should've rode that horse for better or worse.

I was just thinking how lucky I was the kid would not stop being bad and throwing books at me so I couldn't drink during the second half. The extra rationality has helped keep my angry disappointment in check.

Thought Sudfeld shoulda gave it to Howard on 3rd down.  Hell of a fucking game by our OL and Howard. 

 

Amazing effort by the whole team, so close on that goalline stand at the end of regulation.  Great fight!

 

Lets remember that its never been like this where we have challenged every team we faced and top ranked teams - Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, and Michigan.  This team is trending upwards, have to like that.

Honestly Knorr hasn't been the least bit impressive either.

I don't have a problem with the call to pass, but should have rolled Sudfeld out to have a throw/run option.

I was there in 87 when we beat Michigan in the rain. I was seeing parallels to today--we had AT then who was unstoppable and Howard was looking that way tonight. A shame we could not bring it all the way home!

I'm along the same lines. I hate any loss, but I can take losses like this. What's frustrating is when they don't play like this against lesser teams. No excuse to lose to Rutgers! Wish we had Nate for one more year.

Our offensive line should get a lot of credit tonight too---we were blowing them off the line the 4th quarter and Overtime.  And--that was not Ball State---It was the Michigan Wolverines.  They have not been blown up like we did to them in the 2nd half all season. Credit to our guys!
