MartintheMopMan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Competitive game ends after defense repeatedly fails to even come close to making the big stops they needed. Sounds about right. theriverpilot, colonel06 and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote

Popular Post mdn82 Posted November 15, 2015 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2015 You put the ball in the hands of the man who put you in that position. That is why I am no fan of Wilson. colonel06, MartintheMopMan, theriverpilot and 6 others 9 Quote
maharkn Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Horrible play call at the end. Howard is the only player on the field that should have gotten the ball. southsidehoosier and thebigweave 2 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Still can't get over the hump. The effort and game plan is there. Execution on defense has been turrible. Liked to see the team stay focused after some WTF calls by that crew. Quote

JSHoosier Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Wilson tried getting cute with the play calling with the QB keeper. Michigan had struggle to stop our heavy run formations, should've rode that horse for better or worse. LIHoosier 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 If we bring that game on the road we still have a chance to bowl. Diadem 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 We've had some painful L's this season. This one is gonna fester until about 3 drinks from now. mdn82, MartintheMopMan and theriverpilot 3 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 The team is good enough to be a bowl team--hope they win the last 2 and get the chance. HoosierReb01, Naturalhoosier and Crimson and Cream 3 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 We've had some painful L's this season. This one is gonna fester until about 3 drinks from now. I was just thinking how lucky I was the kid would not stop being bad and throwing books at me so I couldn't drink during the second half. The extra rationality has helped keep my angry disappointment in check. Quote
Falcons Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Thought Sudfeld shoulda gave it to Howard on 3rd down. Hell of a fucking game by our OL and Howard. Amazing effort by the whole team, so close on that goalline stand at the end of regulation. Great fight! Lets remember that its never been like this where we have challenged every team we faced and top ranked teams - Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, and Michigan. This team is trending upwards, have to like that. JaybobHoosier and HoosierReb01 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Loses like that just kills me. You go with what got you in that position every single time IMO. Honestly Knorr hasn't been the least bit impressive either. Quote
BGleas Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I don't have a problem with the call to pass, but should have rolled Sudfeld out to have a throw/run option. Naturalhoosier, Alford Bailey, JaybobHoosier and 3 others 6 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I was there in 87 when we beat Michigan in the rain. I was seeing parallels to today--we had AT then who was unstoppable and Howard was looking that way tonight. A shame we could not bring it all the way home! cstroud, Stuhoo and Naturalhoosier 3 Quote

JaybobHoosier Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 These losses would be much easier to swallow if the same results didn't happen after playing Rutgers I'm along the same lines. I hate any loss, but I can take losses like this. What's frustrating is when they don't play like this against lesser teams. No excuse to lose to Rutgers! Wish we had Nate for one more year. rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Our offensive line should get a lot of credit tonight too---we were blowing them off the line the 4th quarter and Overtime. And--that was not Ball State---It was the Michigan Wolverines. They have not been blown up like we did to them in the 2nd half all season. Credit to our guys! Quote
