FKfootball Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I have always thought Davis was a lock honestly. Maybe we can find Neon Beadeaux down in the Louisiana swamps. BtownBanner6 1 Quote

Stuhoo Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Kids generally want to take official visits and I can't blame them: Imagine being a high school senior with the chance to visit multiple fantastic college campuses for free, replete with girls, girls, girls, and topped off by front row tickets to a big time college hoops game. I'd take all five visits, and if I only had four teams I really liked, I'd fake interest in the University of Hawaii to get there for a lovely trip! Moral of the story? Grant Gelon did not need an official visit to have a free weekend in Muncie or Terre Haute, where his other options lay. DeRon and his family will want to see some excellent places. Walking Boot of Doom Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 ITH had an article. DD cited the fact that the three added programs will have lots of air time on TV as a main consideration. mdn82 and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

Not sure about BKB, but in football you have to commit to Hawaii first before you get a official. You were not the first guy to think that one up. Alford Bailey Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 WOW. I really felt that Davis was the one impact guy in this class that was close to a sure thing. Quote

Brass Cannon Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I've always said without Davis this class is a bust. I suppose if we pulled 3 upsets to get 5 stars maybe I'd reconsider but really I feel Davis is that important. Plus if he backs away from us that's a terrible signal to everybody else. Quote
