Rookie33 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Any other reason? That should be a common characteristic amongst upper level d1 players He's the only member of the "movement" that hasn't played like a "bowel movement"? Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Senior leaders don't have to be your best players or even rotational players. They can be the leaders who get the team together for outings, for extra practice, push talented younger players to get better, be a voice of reason before driving a vehicle drunk, etc. The excuse of being the youngest team in the tourney is dumb. We're the youngest because players didn't like the lack of structure, the coach, the dynamics, or they were simply Creaned. It's dumb and there is a pattern of it not working but let's get up and run into the wall again. yay! 8bucks 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 So he's the only player that doesn't suck Hes the only one that consistently gives an effort that you can say, win or lose, at least we played hard and fought. IUsafety 1 Quote
Popular Post Walking Boot of Doom Posted March 22, 2015 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2015 Hate when people act like they're taking some noble stance and having a positive impact in the long run by not going to games. "I support the program, not just one team." Just go watch the boys play, and cheer on the Cream and Crimson. They worked hard to get there, and the program needs its fans. If you stop going because of Crean, you're part of the contingent ruining the fact that we're an intimidating place to play. IUsafety, piratehoosier, bnkepner and 8 others 11 Quote

Cub fans go to games regardless of performance and that sends a message too. Feathery and LIHoosier 2 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Nah. This assumes we have no big departures. Roster still isn't all that great. It's not that great, AND it's past "full" With 2 guaranteed to be leaving to make room for Crean's flavor of the month, I don't see this getting any better in the future. Quote

I agree that folks should support the team and I do always, but I think that Indiana isn't nearly as intimidating of a place to play as it once was. Not because of fan support, but simply because we haven't been that good. Feathery and bnkepner 2 Quote
Myrmidon76 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Assembly Hall is just as intimidating as it ever was. The home team playing there....not so much. HoosierSadaseci, Alford Bailey, Tom White and 4 others 7 Quote
Stuhoo Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Since message boards are the place to report rumors, apparently someone on Peegs has a brother's cousin's uncle who is supposed to be a realtor who has listed the Crean house in Bloomington. theriverpilot and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

Whether or not this is accurate, that used to be the running gag when a team folded badly or lost a big game - for the fans to fill the coach's front yard with "for sale" signs. AKHoosier Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Yeah I saw that too. Maybe that coincides with what that NeverDaunted twitter guy posted on Friday, and there will be some kind of announcement tomorrow. I doubt it though. Quote
FKfootball Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Crean is our coach for a while. Glass is 100% behind this guy. Quote

Although I'm pretty sure that Never Daunted guy doesn't know anything about the situation as he is trying to make people believe, he also is putting his credibility on the line...but he seems to be the type that doesn't care about that, as long as he gets people in a frenzy. Ghost town is an understatement. Like I have said, looks Luke Glass will ride the Crean pony right out of town. Just sad he's an Indiana grad, as McRobbie & a lot of the former higher ups weren't and really didn't care about Indiana basketball. Glass cares more about his ego and "the contract".
