I think there's been only two teams in the OAD era that have won it all with more than one OAD. Puke in 2012 and Duke in 2015

Those two were big parts obviously, but that senior made play after play after play for them down the stretch.  Let's not make it sound like he tagged along for the ride, he played a vital role himself.

Yep. This is what I've been saying. Hopefully our role players flourish with the green light. If not, it'll be a long season.

At least we will compete on defense again, and for that I'm happy.

An Izzo team this talented with upperclassmen.  Scary for sure, could be the best chance to end the Big Tens drought in some time.

Last season we were 18-16 overall and only 7-11 in the B1G.  I don't care that we're losing OG, TB & JBJ, we are simply not going to be that poor next season.   I think we're all going to be pleasantly surprised and happy with our '17-'18 team after our season ends in the NCAA tournament.

Good on Valpo for moving to the MVC. I still want four more Indiana teams to play in Indy for the Crossroads Classic.

I agree that would be great, but I don't see it happening. From what I've read, the IU game is always the most attended of the current two games by quite a lot. I think the attendance for any more teams could potentially dwindle even more, especially if they are on different days. Maybe if they made it into a tournament it might be different, but I doubt IU is interested in that.

I wouldn't shock me honestly. Thon Maker was just a lottery pick and he's played pretty well for the Bucks. Diallo is a freak athlete ( 44.5 in vert) with good size, lot of potential there.
