I like Gonzaga. I like Mark Few. I want to see them win an NCAA title. 

I just didn't want it to happen tonight. 

I'm glad the 1976 IU team is OK with a team going unbeaten and winning a title, but with everything going on this season with COVID, it just doesn't seem as if it would've been real. And no, I don't think Gonzaga would make it through a P5 conference schedule unbeaten. Just don't think it would've happened. 

I'm also really torn because I just didn't want to see Baylor win. 

So, the winner and still unbeaten ...

Iowa was probably the best of that bunch and they don't play defense. Those games were also prior to December.

The biggest threat to the 76 team was probably Baylor out of the 2 teams.  If it wasn’t for the 3 week COVID pause Baylor is probably entering this tournament undefeated as well.   Congrats to Baylor.  Definitely was fun watching them all year

Damn, 2 minutes left in a blowout and some guy from Baylor deflected a pass, flew past the Gonzaga bench to save it, came back on, then tried to block a 3 at the opposite corner. I yearn for someone on a team I root for to show that kind of effort.

What about them? Those games took place in November and December. Gonzaga didn’t play anyone good for nearly three months after that. They barely beat 11 seed UCLA and then got thoroughly dominated by Baylor. They just weren’t prepared for a team this good.

You said they hadn't been tested all year and I disagree because they played a tough non conference  schedule

Zags were good all year.  I don’t care they got beat in the last one.  No matter what conference they would of played in they were one of the 2 best teams all year.
