Politicians getting involved...what could possibly go wrong there?   Gross.

Can't be any worse than what college sports has become. They need to regulate the NIL to what is actually was meant to be and not just people donating money to collectives.  They also need to enforce the rule on transferring more than once and not keep allowing multiple transfers without sitting out. They say coaches can leave anytime they want but they do have to pay tbe buyout

Pac 12 better get on the ball or they will have to disband. I would think the Big Ten is still looking at a couple of Pac 12 teams

Colorado headed back to the Big 12, per Brett McMurphy.

The person familiar with the Big 12’s discussions said the conference would ideally like to expand to 16 schools with Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Colorado all coming over from the Pac-12 to create a Western wing of the league.

I think they basically have. It was always going to be a fight between those two to see who cannibalized who.

I think they become the third “super conf,” although they are kind of light weights in football at this point. And football is what really matters.  If the ACC gets absorbed or can carve itself out as a 4th maj conference is probably the last domino to fall in the next year or so.

Big XII is all "we only need one school", but they really want to grab the rest of the Four Corners schools to make travel affordable out there and create a BYU/Utah rivalry for media deals.

They still won't be as lucrative as the Big Ten or the SEC, but they want to secure themselves as the #3 conference.
