Talking to some friends about UK, racking our brains about who would replace Cal if this is his last year and I’ve got nothing. Assuming they would go pretty big there obviously.

They would probably go after Holtmann first since he is from Kentucky.  His parents are die hard Kentucky fans

That makes sense and would be much preferred to Billy D. He’s OURS next time!

Similar but with a few differences

Illinois' fewer losses and those were against P6 teams. Illinois coming in on a 1 game losing streak. Iowa was on a 3 game losing streak (lost 4 of 5 with the only win against a bad team).

Wiscy hasn't had any bad losses coming into this one. They competed with Kansas and maybe should have won that game. They don't have the mushroom stamp on their foreheads from Rutger and Kansas.

Add to this that Illinois is actually ahead of Wiscy in KenPom rankings.

Not sure if you’re joking or not, but would anyone be surprised? Especially if Cal leaves after next season.

Iowa loss to eastern Illinois smashed their NET.  Iowa isn’t a bad team they just had a brain fart against a terrible team even if their best player was out.

Iowa has a convincing win against Iowa st who is good.  They have neutral court win  against Clemson and road win at Seton Hall.   People can trash IU for losing to them on the road but that’s not a bad loss for IU

Scott Drew

Chris Beard

Billy D

I could see them taking a run at Oats, Musselman is probably safe at arkansas, they actually care about hoops
