Hoosier Guy Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 HAHAHA Purdue sucks. Not a regular season title or tournament title with that stacked team ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 That's it, Purdue, keep fouling in a game that's already over and kick that 103rd ranked defense even lower. Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Only 3 times has a team won 4 games in 4 days to win the BTT. Iowa in 2001, beat IU in the final game. Michigan in 2018, beat Purdue in the final. Iowa in 2022, beat Purdue in the final. Quote
Henryville Hoosier Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Nice to know we played Iowa the toughest. pumpfake 1 Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 McCaffery crying after a big ten tournament title seems a little much. Conference tourneys are a fun way to end the season an all, but if that’s the mountain top for you emotionally I don’t know. AKHoosier 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Weird thought: by not beating Illinois and Wisconsin during the season, it kept Purdue from winning the title. By not beating Iowa yesterday, it may have kept Purdue from winning the tournament. Joe_hoopsier and craigyv88 2 Quote

Kenpom just updated and Purdue's offense is now #3, behind Iowa at #2 and Gonzaga at #1. Quote

Gahoosierfan Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 The selection committee is an embarrassment. If you win 25 games and play nobody, you get a high seed. Schedule means nothing. Quote

Their last Final Four was in 1980. Winning the Big Ten tournament is a huge deal for them. They aren't a program that gets 5 star talent, and they only get a legit chance to contend for a league title about every 5-6 years if things line up right. McCaffery might be happy he's finally found a way to avoid a huge late season meltdown. Iowa really came on strong the last few weeks. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
