Watching IU women vs pUKe, and keeping an eye on Cuse. By the looks of it, we have twice as many fans in the stands for the women than Cuse does for the men.

Its amazing with all the success Syracuse has had that they cheaped out and never built a real arena for basketball and kept them in their cheap rendition of the old Hoosier Dome.

Minny up 11 early in the 2nd half

Peyton Willis is back with Minny.

he played first 2 seasons at Vanderbilt and then transferred to Minny for a season.  Transferred to college of Charleston last year and transferred back to Minny for his extra year.  Lol.

Funny moment. Minnesota player in a silent gym shouts “short” immediately after first missed free throw, then drops a “G…D” immediately after shooting 2nd free throw. It missed too.  Dead silence. Announcers say he clearly wasn’t happy with either of those FTS.

This Minny team does not look good at all.

They are playing a seven man rotation….truly not good this early in the season.  They have two players who will miss the season with injuries — Isuah Ihnen who was likely going to be a 20 minute guy for them and Parker Fox, a D2 transfer who averaged 20 points and 9 rebounds last year.  Fox tore his ACL 48 hours after announcing his transfer to Minnesota.

Nicholls/Baylor start the day out at noon.  Nicholls won at N Iowa already this year and with SFA in the WAC now Nicholls is the clear favorite for the Southland conference

Illinois/Marquette- Marquette struggled with New Hampshire. Illinois should roll even without Kofi

Liberty/LSU

Furman/Belmont and Buffalo/N Texas best mid major matchups tonight

Providence/Wisky should be a close one as well

Geez -- ESPN put a game with the country's No. 9 team on its pay channel. I shouldn't be surprised at that, but am a little disappointed. I felt like watching a little afternoon hoops.

I might be misremembering, but I think a few years ago when Crean was still here, we were ranked No. 3 early in the season and had a home game that was on a pay channel.
