I’d rather it be Durham of the 3.

Objectively he is the last one you should want to go. He's a Senior, so no scholarship impact with him staying and was the team's best 3pt shooter- an area of huge need on this team. He's not All Conference material, but he's a team player and seems like a good guy. So unless there is some extremely unexpected incoming player to upgrade his role,  Al leaving hurts IU.

But your forgetting Joe doesn’t like him.

Eh. Franklin can fill in those shoes just fine. Or even Lander playing at the 2.

My cable company (yes, I'm one of the dinosaurs who still has it) is offering a few free premium channels during the pandemic. So last night, I watched the Showtime doc on the 1976 unbeaten team for the first time. Although it came out three years ago, I hadn't seen it. I have to admit, I got a little teary eyed at the end. ... I still remember the title game against Michigan: I was 7 years old and watched with my mom (a big sports fan and IU alum) -- she was in tears that night.

I don't know what's more amazing: that those fellas went through the entire season without losing a game -- or that the previous year's team was even better!

True.  Also, and to have one of best players (Bobby W.) leave the game in the first half and not return - yet still win convincingly.  I think Wilkerson said (as of a few years ago) that he still hadn't watched the tape of the game.
