To us outsiders maybe, but it's hard to fire a university legend, i.e, The General.  G'town will have a PR problem as will Michigan when they finally decide Harbaugh is never going to get them to the promised land.  Just one of the many reasons I'm glad we didn't replace Crean with Alford.

If he was winning maybe but sure looks like they are in store for another rebuild. Imagine if Watford transferred in the middle of year 3, Hulls got kicked off the team and Cody decommitted. Crean wasn’t a legend but we were patient like he was but that would have killed what little momentum we looked to have going into year 4
