My thoughts exactly. Why would he save his job lol he is good maybe ends up being great but one kid wasn't gonna do it. Even if he got Wilkes I believe he was likely to be gone.

Do they have anything similar for upperclassmen? I admit I would have thought we had more top 25 guys. I assume we have more contributors who are upperclassmen but I wonder if I am wrong on that too

I don't think they have a separate list for upperclassmen. I haven't seen them do one in the past either. Who would be on there from IU?

RoJo? With RoJo, Newkirk and Hartman you have three of your top 7 being seniors that have played a lot. I wonder how those three compare to other teams upperclassmen

Rojo was ranked 13th on that list. DD was tied 25th.

Seemed fair. Morgan could get there. Maybe Newkirk. Maybe Hartman. But list seems fair for now.

Agreed. If anything DD could be over-ranked if anything due to what he accomplished last year. I could see that argument from other fans and I couldn't disagree.

Newkirk, Johnson, Hartman, Morgan, and Davis, if all healthy and playing their best, have a chance to be a really good starting 5. There's a lot of versatility and experience with that group.

 

Edit: hoping for a season where the sum of its parts are greater than the individual talents, for the first time in forever at IU.
