Former Purdude Jaden Ivey is in the news with some notable public comments; likely mental health issues. Just got cut from the Bulls; likely because of them.

I’d like to think that I can mock Purdue with the best of em, but this isn’t a laughing matter. Hope he gets help and gets right.

No way, but it would be the funniest thing ever. It’s like someone looked at the ‘21 IU hiring process and thought, “Yeah, we GOT to get us some of that.”

Didn't Stackhouse coach at Vanderbilt a few years ago? So at least he has some college experience unlike our dear old Woody.

NIT in 21-22 and 22-23. Stack did coach a G-League team to a title so maybe UNC is gonna put the Hornets G-League team in Carolina Blue and let it fly.

****I am not trying to start a political back and forth, just stating why the Bulls waived him.  Also, for the record, he wasn't going to play for the rest of the season as he has been ruled out due to injury and he is set to become.  I believe he'll still receive his salary for the season and the Bulls just felt it was better to not have him around if he wasn't going to be playing anyway.

Yeah dude sounds like he needs help. He clearly is not dealing well with the reality that the career is over. Hopefully he has someone looking out for him, because being alone or around yes men wont benefit.

It's not just comments about Pride Month. It's 30 minute long videos on all kinds of things and tweets about all kinds of things. 

I'm not sure if his knees are so shot that he can't play in the NBA, but he has bigger issues that are more in need.

Oh I agree. Him talking about Steph and LeBron being Godless. The anti LGBTQ stuff. About a month ago he went on a rant about how his knee was cooked. Streaming it all. Definitely seems as if he is in the middle of a mental health crisis.

He also went on a rant about the Catholic Church and about how he has abused his wife because of his anger issues. It's all alarming and sad.
