HoosierAloha Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 In this case I'd go for Watford and then go hard after Hurt. The chances of landing both Hurt and Watford are slim to none. In the unrealistic chance we do land them both, they'll be fine after a season. Give me Jackson-Davis and Brooks. I believe one (TJD) contributes immediately along with Smith, Davis, Thompson, and Forrester in the front court. The inverse would be a year of Hurt and Watford staring and the others contributing. I want an experienced team that has a few good underclassman that contribute but is led by upperclassmen. TJD and KB could both see their junior season at Iu. We already have his buddy Race. TW would give him a top 10 player to play with. I think we'd be title contenders with the two of them. Conference contenders for sure. Quote

We aren’t the frontrunners right now, but if we can get an official visit we will be in a position to have a decent chance at the end.I'm not sure why people keep suggesting we don't have a shot with Hurt when we've been told we absolutely have a shot. Our frontcourt could end up being loaded in 2019. I just don't see how we could make it work with two players ready to start.
