Yeah he made several big plays. He has a natural feel for the game. Probably needs to add some bulk but wouldnt be suprised to see him as a key leader of the defense next year.

Wild ride in that game.  So happy with the win. Everything still on the table.  We’ve been anything but polished this season on many levels but 7-1 with wins vs NW, at Nebraska, at Michigan and a should have been vs Ohio State is impressive on its own.  
 

It just hasn’t looked good along the way.  So credit to the players and coaches for making it happen.  And here’s to hoping we can get it clicking here at some point.

I read on Twitter Wyatt was hurt?  Never saw it. Did he return to the game?  We missed the first Michigan drive of 2nd standing in line for food.

Observations:

1) We lost a ton of leadership from last years. Cig guys that had been with him at JMU.  He’s going to have to figure out how to install the Cig football mindset into 1 year rentals.  
 

2) I didn’t watch TCU or Hoover last year.  But he doesn’t seem to fit our offense well.  He doesn’t see the field that well, and misses reads, leading to inaccurate throws.  He’s been characterized as a “gun slinger.”  He seems to play better in that mode.  Stand back and sling it around.  Coaches are going to have to adjust here and find something serviceable.  
 

3) My heart  can’t take much more of this.

One of the people I watched the game with is a Michigan fan, he was oddly silent when Michigan got an extra 3 seconds after what should've been a delay of game.
