On tonight's radio show DDV said the six seniors will be honored pregame on Wednesday. Says it will be 10-15 minutes before the official tip time.

Minnesota (14-15 (7-11) and 2-8 in road games should be a win but.................!  The Gophers average 71 ppg just 3 pts. better than their opponents.  They shoot 46% FG and 35% on 3s.  They average 32 rpg with a -1 margin.  5 Gophers average double figures led by Cade Tyson at 19.6/game.  He's also a 42% 3-point shooter.  Bobbie Durkin is a 40% 3-point shooter.  They have 4 players who've attempted at least 130 3s and 3 of the 4 are over 150 attempts for the season.  In comparison, Tucker has 130 attempts and Lamar 152.  Dorn a distant third with 103 attempts.  Their best rebounder is Jaylen Crocker-Johnson at 6.8; Tyson is next with 5.6.  Good news is the season  is nearing an end.

A wise approach.  Regardless of how the season went, I don’t think transfers who have been here one year should take the mic postgame.

Minny and IU meet on Wednesday.  Both trying to decide if they want to be in the bottom 3 of the expanded B1G.  Oh boy.  This is going to be great.

Coach DeVries gets the crowd to learn a couple of new words and to the crowd's pleasure obtains two early technicals and is ejected from the game.

The lineup is immediately changed.  Sisley comes in and immediately doubles his production of 2ppg. Conerway and others having good practices come in.

Conerway will get 35 minutes and a triple-double.  (In my dreams.) It will be great to see him out of the gulag in Siberia.

Enright gets 8 assists, draws a multitude of fouls, scores all 10 FTs, and two 3's.

IU breaks out into the lead by 25 points at the half and keeps going all game.

T. DeVries runs around the court like his hair is on fire.  Defending, getting stops, outjumps Moye... sprouting wings on his feet.  Is that an omen or is it for $$$$ and NIL?

We might even get an invite to a post season tourney. the dance?  Who are these guys?

But I just sold my first four tickets.  (Just kidding.)

Can't wait for next year to again ask the question: "Who are these guys?"

All the transfers are from overseas.  Is that still allowed in the USA?

Kind of a shame really.  Hopefully we can get back to that at some point, especially if a player wants to.

Yea, if there are instances where it makes sense, we should figure out how to let player(s) speak.  Obviously it's still possible to have four year guys who will have earned the right.  As for the transfers in, it's possible they have a great run here and quickly form a bond with the fans and want to speak -- I for one am good with that.

It's definitely a case by case basis.

Wasn't the presentations after the game and not before until this year?  After the game you have more time for them to speak, but before, you won't because you have a time crunch with the game needing to start at a certain time.

I'm guessing the days of handing the mic over to players is history.

After Leal and Galloway tried to dress down the fanbase 2 years ago, I'm fine to see this change. The whole Woodson s#!t show from that time frame left a bad taste, and ruined the fun for everyone. Mediocre Mike, this one's on you. #goodriddance

Yeah, I'll be able to let it go someday. Maybe.

There is no doubt in my mind that we are most definitely over THAT hump.

Game Day!?

Again?

Question:  Which year was more fun for Indiana fans?  The season RMK was fired leaving Mike Davis?  The year Sampson took over from Davis?  The year after Sampson and Dakich with Tom Crean?  The year after Tom Crean with Archie Miller?  The year after Archie Miller with Mike Woodson?  The year after Woodson with D DeVries?  The year after D DeVries with TBD?  (Spoiler Alert: *See Below)

Tonight, we get to say goodbye to our 'rented' one-year players. I will be cheering for IU.  It is a habit.

Minnesota snapped a nine-game Indiana win streak against the Hoosiers earlier this year, but is looking for its first win at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall since 2012.
• Minnesota (14-15, 7-11) is coming off a 78-73 win over UCLA Saturday at Williams Arena. Bobby Durkin made 7-of-11 three-pointers and finished with a season-high 23 points, Langston Reynolds had 21 points and six assists, and Cade Tyson had 21 points, as Minnesota shot 58 percent and made 12-of-23 (.522) three-pointers. Grayson Grove finished with a career-high seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals.
• Minnesota's starting five of Isaac Asuma, Bobby Durkin, Grayson Grove, Langston Reynolds and Cade Tyson have averaged over 35 minutes the past five games. On Saturday, against UCLA, Bobby Durkin played all 40 minutes, while Asuma played 39. Kai Shinholster has come off the bench to average 10 minutes. Tyson ranks second in the Big Ten in minutes played, averaging 36.4.  Gophers Close Out Regular Season Road Season at Indiana Wednesday - University of Minnesota Athletics

* Mike Davis took over as interim head coach for that season, leading the Hoosiers to a 21-13 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance.   Under Mike Davis, the Hoosiers reached the NCAA National Championship game, losing to Maryland. I took my whole family to the Duke and Kent (thanks for the correction!) games in UK's Rupp Arena for the wins!  Accomplished with RMK's players after RMK started actually recruiting again.  Coulda, woulda...

Didn't we beat Kent State that year?

Today is my day for a senior moment...just like those players, kind of.

Well, I've never been to Heaven, but I went to Indiana.

They told me that I graduated, but I really don't remember.

Beat Akron or Kent (State), what does it matter?  I don't remember.

(I've slept since then.  And my apologies to 3 Dog Night.)
