Magnanimous Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Alright, it’s finally game time again folks! I know it’s been a long and very special offseason, but now it’s time to run this back in Chapter 3 with a season opening win over the North Texas Mean Green. I’m thinking Hoover airs it out a bit more in this game than Fernando did last year in his first game as a Hoosier. Let’s get to 1-0 today and set the tone for this season. And you know what they say about being the defending champs… IMG_2051.mov Stuhoo, Class of '66 Old Fart, J34 and 1 other 1 3 Quote

Have a hunch that Cig may want him to gun for Joe Burrow’s stats this season to shut up at least part of the whole 2019 LSU narrative. southsidehoosier 1 Quote

Have fun watching a game on Wednesday. Section 108-about the ten yard line and 15 rows from the field. $150/per and an easy train ride from Penn Station. Cheaper and way better hotels, way better eats (sorry Ma Bears) and an overwhelmingly IU crowd. Kinda excellent!! Quote

Hovadipo Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Piscataway sucks, but it’s a unique and pretty decent stadium. If that’s a 3:30 kick you guys are in for a real treat. Genuinely one of the prettiest sunset stadiums I’ve seen. Not sure if it’s the orientation or what but it’s very aesthetically pleasing. Edit: just realized this is off-topic. This is for the rutger-goers above. LIHoosier 1 Quote

TTT Posted Thursday at 10:15 PM Posted Thursday at 10:15 PM Times they are A-Changin 2011: North Texas 24. IU. 21 (waited the whole game for IU to make a positive move in that game and just another uneventful game) 2014: IU 49 North Texas 24 Enjoy this era of IU football and the Cignetti era because time flies by in the wind. 2025-26….16-0. Major College Football Big Ten and National Champs. (The automobile was not even invented….Yale 1894). It seems almost impossible to realize the improbability in the significance of what happened for IU football. And it will be just as almost impossible to realize the improbability in the significance of what is about to continue to happen for IU football for 2026-27. I am at 50/50 50% Vegas Odds 2.8% going 16-0 Quote

Both of Cig’s opening games have looked like a lot of guys were still learning and adjusting. Based on that 40.5 feels like a lot unless Cig has some grudge against North Texas. Stuhoo 1 Quote
