The new Crimson Cast podcast from today.

At the 20 min mark, Galen goes on about a 5 min speech that is just tremendous about this team and season.

Highly recommend checking out at least those 5 minutes.

You weren’t kidding!

Everyone; take @tyappleg‘s advice and listen to Galen starting at the 20 minute mark. You will be so glad you did.

You're right. That was five minutes of excellent oratory, perfectly describing the bond between school, coaches, team, and fan base. Lots of hope for future greatness in football but this team and players will always be uniquely special.

More of a season post-mortem here but just reflecting on the challenges of going undefeated.

Iowa and PSU both needed to pick up first downs late and they would have likely won.

On our final drive against PSU, the throw before the Cooper catch was tipped up and their linebacker slips while making a move toward the ball. If he doesn’t slip there’s a good chance it’s an interception.

While Oregon was close, that one never felt too much in doubt even tied in the 4th quarter.

B1G championship was tight the whole way, and we had the good fortune of their kicker missing a makeable one like happened against Iowa and Oregon

And then of course the back-and-forth second half vs Miami

You can’t prep for missed FGs and having generally healthy skill players all year, but being 110% prepared allows you have the best chance at experiencing some lucky bounces.

CIG and this staff prep for every tiny detail…and the good fortune follows.

But if I listen to my post-championship podcasts then the season will really be over.

That's why you download them and listen to them again on a random weekend in June. I'll be.

I watched a few videos he has done on Heismendoza a few weeks ago, and he breaks down the good and the bad.  The reads and the formations they are in.  Really good insights on the game, and the Raiders better be prepared.  He is going to soak up all that Brady can put in his brain.

Next Tues 1/27 on B1G network entire conference schedule released. OSU @ IU 10/17 has been confirmed so far.

....was on eleven warriors message board the other day and they were talking about how tough their schedule will be next year. Some were already discrediting IU, saying "they will be loosing a ton of starters..." and "we will definitely not lose to IU next year!".....

Yes, this team will be different with a lot of different players, but we have the same head coach with the same blueprint an a plan. OSU coming to IU next year, will be a HUGE game for both teams and most likely the NCAA, no doubt. We won't back down to anyone and never will, as long as Coach Cignetti has anything to say about it.

If I were to guess, there are a few mouthy schools that he would love the opportunity to finally break their will.

We have to make sure that the stadium is full of our fans and not OSU fans. They will always be good. We have to continue to close the talent gap and continue with mistake free, high level execution football.

I saw in an article IU @ Michigan should be on there as well.

I'm planning on a trip to Bloomington to go with my Buckeye FIL and family. Very excited and expect it to be disorienting. We have never all gone to an Indiana-OSU game where Indiana is the favorite before or one where we're surrounded by Indiana fans, come to think of it. Though the plan is to buy through OSU, so maybe that part will stay the same.

Now I just hope the Washington game won't be on Oct 10 or 24.
