According to this the #3 state in ticket sales is Illinois at over 11%.  I believe it was third in ticket sales at the last two IU playoff games as well, and we can safely the ratio for that group will be 99% Indiana fans.

Ooh good data. I’m gonna factor that into my model.

Alumni association also says we have 27,000 alumni in Florida.  My 10% estimate for Florida tickets being IU feelings pretty good

Buffed in Prime making some reassuring statements about the matchup tonight.

I know he's not a fortunate teller but it seems he knows his stuff down to the nth degree and is a student of the game. Let's hope he remains dead-on.

Was this on Patreon?

Just on X actually. Saying he'd be surprised if Miami put up more than 10 points. But I'm curious about his Patreon from the other night, too.

Might be the smartest thing anyone from Florida State has ever done

And that's one cute little girl.

Still over here evaluating transportation. We'll probably do the HRS express shuttle from lot 95 on the way, but curious if anyone has experience with the Uber shuttle from the stadium post game? I'm hoping the main issue with ridesharing from the stadium is cars not being able to get there in traffic, but if shuttles are lined up ready to go, maybe it's an easier escape?

he also has IU at like 13.5 fav for this game too.  He was in the same range for points for Bama and Oregon too.

They are definitely settling in. These tickets highlighted got snapped up quick :-). I am by no means an expert and my advice SHOULD NOT BE FOLLOWED HERE. But I've been so fortunate to have exactly zero priority points with IU and forced to scour secondary markets for the last 3 games. Buying early was totally a mistake for the Rose and Peach Bowl. Tickets came way down as the game got closer and even more so the day before and day of (weather likely a factor for the Rose Bowl). The B1G championship game was the opposite. Buying early would have been way better as prices spiked as the game got closer (though I can't speak for day of). The biggest similarity between B1G champ and the CFP champ game is one fanbase being local. I'm highly skeptical of pricing coming down to its lowest over the weekend. But again I will retype my first sentence I am by no means an expert and my advice SHOULD NOT BE FOLLOWED. So...buy early!! Or...wait!

Bumping this b/c I’m even more skeptical now that prices will dip over the weekend. This is trending far more like the B1G championship game than the Rose or Peach bowl. And once again, I know nothing, could end up completely wrong, and prices could plummet as soon as I hit send.

There’s a lot of IU grads in Florida could be they snag last minute tickets to prevent a dip.

I like Kannell. He’s always good to push back against the SEC. I only ever catch the last 30min of it but his show on XM isn’t bad as far as sports talk radio goes.

For the folks who are waiting it out I really hope it does dip. I fear its equally likely they spike further. Right now I'm feeling extremely lucky on my timing, which I was totally due for!

This will be my first time at hard Rock Stadium and have had the same questions/concerns about getting to and from the stadium.  I don't have any experience with Uber Shuttle, or HRS for that matter, but figured that with the expected price surge and potential wait times after the game for a regular Uber, that would be a no go.  We are staying in Fort Lauderdale and found a shuttle service to the game that dropped off at 199th and the Florida Turnpike for $65 per person, we would then need to take the Uber Shuttle back to Fort Lauderdale for $25 per person.  There are 4 of us, so it was a better/cheaper option to do the park and ride with HRS Shuttle.  We found a pass for Lot 70 on StubHub for $175.

Cool picture but I incorrectly assumed you would be surrounded by adoring coeds.

I saw a YT video of fans saying that after games at Hard Rock the uber pick-up area is a 20-30min walk from the stadium. I've only seen negative reviews about the pick up operation with shuttle services (Uber, eg).

From personal experience at the Final Four in Houston, right after the game it is almost impossible to even book an uber - and even if you do the surge price is unbelievable. I know none of this helps your cause, so sorry for the bad news, but if it were me going I would book a hotel as close as possible and walk it.

This is a game in which  I’m guessing thousands of people are waiting and hoping for a dip which, unfortunately, makes it less likely.
