cbp4iu Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 We have some work to do. Need more consistency from Reed Bailey. He can be a ghost Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Not exactly what I wanted to see. Wilkerson looked Great. Conerway had a nice 2nd half. I feel like Dorn Is going to make every 3. More confident in his shot than DeVries now. Enright is a liability despite the few positives he offers. Our bigs are just inadequate including against like mid major types. Sisley seems to have fallen out of favor after demonstrating the inability to make a free throw. Gotta play Dorn, DeVries, Wilkerson, Conerway a LOT imo and space the floor. Shoot 3s and pray. The long stretch with no games really stinks. Will begin having withdrawals right around the time the football team is ready to take the field. pumpfake, Home Jersey, J34 and 2 others 5 Quote

And maybe these guys need a long stretch instead of more basketball right now to mentally reset, who knows. Dave from Dayton and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Hoosier987 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Football is number 1 right now and rightfully so. Once the season is over, I assume bball will get more attention since that is the only major sport being played. With that said, low post scoring is an issue - We virtually have none, which is why we shoot so many threes -- "Live by the 3, die by the 3", will be a good statement for this team. I'm a fan of CDD, but Bailey was a major miss, and I think a lot of Hoosier Nation had the same doubt as the Transfer Season Portal was winding down...Is Bailey really going to be an adequate post player in the Big Ten? We aren't a very balanced roster, and I think we're in for a rude awakening playing the bigger more talented teams in conference, i.e., Michigan, MSU, if our 3 point shots aren't falling. Just a thought...I see some schools signing players to be added to their team for the 2nd semester. Would it be worth looking at grabbing a big man? Just a thought as I see Illinois, USC, BYU etc..all adding to their teams. We don't need a scorer necessarily, just someone who can rebound and won't get pushed around physically. Was up 26 at half and came out of the half like they were up 26 in the last game before break. They cut it to 15 at some point and then IU stretched it back out to over 20. Gave up 4 garbage points at the end and ended up winning by 21. 8 out of the 10 wins have been by 20 or more points. Lone one being Incarnate Word who IU won by 8. They have done everything you would want them to do to Q3 and Q4 teams and even beat a Q2 team by double digits. IU hasn’t taken advantage of their Q1a opportunities but both of them were away from home. Looking forward to see how the respond in those Q1 home game opportunities J34, Rico, ALASKA HOOSIER and 4 others 2 5 Quote

Notwithstanding the negative noise especially following the UK game, the team is in good position to win and move up starting with the B1G. Now we'll see how they play against conference talent at home and going forward. J34, ALASKA HOOSIER and Uspshoosier 3 Quote

These 2 game along with Minny and pUKe really show it, but against Louisville, they played with them in the second half. They just need to put the petal to the metal out of halftime.
