Where’s the next official? I believe the only campuses he’s been on are IU and Mizzou. I seem to recall there was supposed to be a Creighton unofficial that didn’t happen. An early call would be great news. Mizzou’s already taken a commitment from ‘27 CG Scottie Adkinson. Adkinson’s from my neck of the woods and while I see him very much as a wired scorer, he, like every kid these days, wants to be a PG and I sort of doubt Gates would have been able  to pull that one that early without strongly suggesting that was in his future. But Branham and Adkinson have the same personal trainer so I’m sure everyone there would know what’s up.

Would think Iowa would have easily the best tape presentation because they can just throw on Drake tape, point at Stirtz and say, “That’s you.” Maybe that wins but I’m not sure it does because based on watching him and talking to a couple of people who know his game better than I do I’m not sure he’s looking for 30 second possession basketball.

Appears he’s the highest rated player in the 2027 composite who’s committed anywhere. (Missouri has a guy who’s committed in the same neighborhood of the rankings, 35th composite/31 to 247, vs. 33/43 for Chase.)
