Yeah I heard yesterday he said no but doesn’t mean we didn’t throw more money at him. But Rod Clark from Tennessee is a name I just heard.

Interesting. I heard they were waiting for background checks, legal stuff, contracting.

I know they don't make unilateral decision on who to recruit but do the lead recruiters often identify and recommend the players they recruit? I ask because neither of those players has played much. He doesn't seem like a high power recruiter like Murphy but coming from a winning program is nice. 

Not surprising you're hearing it since he's been on Adragna's list as a possibility.

Are you talking about Rod Clark from Tennessee, that Rod Clark? That would be an excellent hire. Whatever people think of Rick Barnes and his style of play, the guy’s produced a million coaches.

I would definitely take Murphy over Clark.

Yeah. He has been talked about along with Preston and the Texas Tech coach when people were talking about assistant coaches.   People just focused and talked about the other 2 but his name has been mentioned before

I totally agree and think it would be an awesome consolation to losing out on Murphy

So it would be Adams, the Texas tech guy, Clark/murphy, then Norton would be 4th assistant, and Sturtz the 5th coach?

I haven’t heard anything about the 5th spot. Sturtz has a spot but not sure doing what

Estrella missed this season with an injury, Carr announced a transfer to Baylor mid-season which was really odd
