The most notable thing in his contract is that he was only paid $25k for moving expenses. Come on, Darian, you could have negotiated more than that!

I know we’re all pretty sure about the Texas tech coach coming (i don’t feel like trying to remember how to spell his name) but he follows all the names we’ve been recruiting lately so he’s all but done in my eyes. Sounds like Chris’ info about waiting on Murphy should hopefully be correct

One thing that i find interesting is that we haven’t heard a different name yet. I think that bodes well for Murphy. If we had heard he was staying in Alabama or even if there was a risk we weren’t going to get him, you would think there’d be some alternate names floating around.

According to ITH, 

"DeVries also receives $25,000 for moving expenses, a $50,000 one-time signing bonus and a $10,000 annual allowance for placing orders for Adidas products.

The new IU coach will also receive one courtesy car to be used for the term of employment.

Additional benefits include season tickets to IU athletics competitions, season credentials and parking passes for football and men’s basketball games, meals provided at the athletic dining facility, unlimited family use of the Pfau Course, and the driving range, which includes green fees, cart fees and range balls."

I wonder if they gave him a car or if he went and got to pick it out.  This is the kind of stuff I wonder when I see this stuff, and how much Adidas stuff can you actually get for $10k?  How often does he place an order?  You have to think they gave him carte blanche at the AH gift store you would think.
