There's too much wacky **** going on with Twitter in general but also within the IU sphere, for me to put much stock in that. 

I think Dolson was likely back channeling with DeVries and McCollum for weeks if not months and then like most dealmaking processes, things moved very quickly when it was time to close. DeVries missing the tournament helped expedite that process. That's what I'm telling myself anyway... Silat Player said something funny about spy novels... lol

Well it looks like our pipeline will be SoCal academy Instead of Montverde Academy. Two of his three recruits for 2025 are from there. I wonder how many of those three he wants to bring m/how many of them want to come to IU. I just don’t know if he’s going to take 5 freshman or not. Or 6 if he can somehow work his magic on Mullins.

lol wow that's pretty wild if this guy had the scoop and Darian has been "Dolson's guy" all along.

I'm willing to believe that this has been in the works for weeks and the events of Selection Sunday accelerated the timeline.

Someone posted a while back that the most common trait of Nat'l Championship coaches is that they set a school record for wins at an earlier stop. Devries tied Drake's. He also had 3 NCAA trips in 6 years at a place that had only been there once in the prior 47 years. And during one of those trips, he lost by 7 to a Miami team that drilled IU the next game en route to the final four.

One of my final thoughts for the night, there will be no excuse to not make the dance next year. He will have the NIL to compete in the portal, zero excuses to miss.
