Stuhoo Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I will say this: Ballo, Malik, and Hatton would be perfectly suited to defend the Maryland two-big focal point. But Malik looked rusty and less than ready last night, so that's not optimum. But we are a far better team when the opponent is not a guard-heavy/bombs away from three style, and Maryland is big man-focused. Also, in a 'better coach contest' between Woody and Willard, the correct answer is "none of the above." JerryYeagley23, Dave from Dayton, eddy4iu and 1 other 2 2 Quote
Home Jersey Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Derik Queen double double incoming. Add in about 5 assists and 2 or 3 blocks probably, lol Hornsby and OliviaPope40 2 Quote
AKHoosier Posted January 23 Posted January 23 They're a lot like us. Talented but under performing. I've long expected a win here, but this is definitely not a guarantee. The boost we typically get from the home crowd could be somewhat negated by our guys feeling increased pressure. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Would be a nice paper win for the Hoosiers. Maryland NET 24. However Maryland is a bubble team just like IU. Non con Sos of 327 with 0 road wins. Pretty big game for both teams Stuhoo and MemphisHoosier 2 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Coach Woody prepares a great game plan. Indiana's defense is stifling. Rice gets the ball into play quickly with few turnovers. Malik has a breakout game and really steps up his defense. Mgbako scores 18 and passes a lot. 5 assists and some great stops on defense. Ballo does not dribble into trouble. Again passes to get assists when doubled. The Big Ten Referees do a decent job and keep the game going, fairly. Coach Woody coaches like Izzo. What a change! IU wins by double digits on the road. Even if the first 6 predictions come true (there's not enough weed on the planet), #7 won't come true... the game is at SSAH. Chris007, Dave from Dayton and ALASKA HOOSIER 1 2 Quote

But as we have seen if it is close with under 5 minutes we'll lose. I expect Ballo to be better than Queen. On a side note, my son a student has tickets to the game but he and his friends said they would rather watch it at their place and study than go to Assembly Hall on a Sunday to watch this product. I’m putting his over/under on made 3’s at 2.5 and he’ll crush it. One of them will probably be banked in. You can feel it coming. Dave from Dayton and realTomCrean 2 Quote

Does Malik play significant minutes? Does he spell Ballo or tag-team with him? The answers to those questions matter. Quote

I would guess he plays at least 12 minutes since he played 11 last night. I think Queen is better than both Ballo and Reneau off the dribble. Quote
