With the rev share coming in at $16-18M or whatever to supplement NIL, I’d guess that’s what juicing these players deals so much.

There ever going to be a day in the NIL era where the players salaries are public record? Would love to know how much Michigan’s Underwood is going to make. Don’t blame Portnoy for opening up his wallet after watching Michigan’s QBs this year, just have a hard time thinking he’d be an upgrade over a portal addition QB

No on NIL since those are private deals, but on the rev share side that's paid by the athletic depts and I assume journalists will FOIA the public schools and get the players' contracts.  So we'll know the rev share side of the player's compensation.

Agree, I like an experienced QB over a freshman.  It's just tough to learn the college game quickly -- of course some can do it, but it's tough.  Mendoza has two years of eligibility which is great.

I think that account has a midwest connection. He posts commitments to many schools but seems to concentrate on Indiana and Kentucky schools.

I'm pleased with the lack of IU portal entries after the end of the season. So far only Green and Jackson, who were recruited over. That's good for continuity and shows that most of the team has bought in and are happy.

Four more days for the portal to close and we can completely exhale.  A good start so far fingers crossed...
