The timing of this firing means the situation is serious. A suspension would make sense for a simpler infraction such as a recruiting violation. I’ve never met the kid, but he is a hustler for networking in the coaching circles from my observation.

It's not a lack of wanting, I have no doubts Woodson wants the program to succeed; he lacks the ability.

IMO Adam probably had enough of Woody's recruiting approach and may have told him he needed to get off his arse.  I don't for a minute believe it was anything that Adam did but our illustrious coach being a complete doofus.

If I had to make random guesses without knowing the situation, I would maybe wonder if it’s a DUI, or something involving law enforcement, inappropriate relationship with a student.
 

Ive heard a lot of crazy **** in the coaching circles with coaches still not being fired. But maybe Woody has a short temper and Adam actually didn’t do anything serious? Maybe we will find out one day. Not a great look for Indiana basketball considering you don’t fire someone during the season typically.

I would say quite possible. No intel currently outside of what Dane has told me in the past.

That usually takes a while to be reported publicly, but instantly with a compliance office. I doubt it’s something NCAA wise though.

Dane is a *******, but respected, and a hell of a coach. Woodson and Dane personalities for sure don’t match together, which explains that. 
 

Adam is likely a yes man, he’s young, I don’t see him back talking Woodson, let alone challenging Woodson to the point of being fired.

I was not on this forum at the time he was on staff, so wasn’t really fully informed. But from what I gather of that and recent events this week, that’s the first thing I’d think (assuming nothing related to misconduct). I mean… doesn’t seem like a normal situation or approach to parting ways with someone with his profile…

Belief amongst the staff. If it’s truly a political disbelief between Howard and CMW then screw CMW and his statistical ego.
