I don't think I can ever 'trust' On3's recruiting rankings again...

When Indiana landed Rourke in December, he was ranked as the No. 35 quarterback and No. 439 among all transfers by On3. But midway through the season, he has proven to be one of the most impactful transfers in the country.

Troy Aikman to Joe Buck on Monday Night Football tonight:

”I’m looking forward to your Hoosiers; watching them play again. They’re 6-0. It’s gonna be a weekly thing. 6-0 Hoosiers? I mean, come on!”

Buck to Aikman: “You’ve become their biggest fan.”

Welcome to the family Troy Aikman!

Let’s hear it for “Troy Aikman; Mr. Hoosier!”

Without question our newest super fan will be rocking candy stripes on Monday Night Football this season. This link with Troy discussing his newfound love for IUFB is awesome:

After watching that Troy has become my favorite Cowboy.  Ahead of John Wayne.  Well…not really but close!

Nebraska game is now a sellout

Given how that fanbase travels I’ll be interested to see what % is Husker folk. That being said, it’s encouraging knowing it’s no longer gonna be like some of those OSU games where they were 70% of the stadium.

If anyone can help, heading to the game next weekend and trying to figure out the parking situation.

From what I've read the Church on Dunn may be the best option if we get there early?  Or is shuttling from College mall a good idea?  I don't know what that will look like for a GameDay sellout.

How far do you wanna walk? I had a weird situation for Maryland and sold my parking pass, but was able to end up going. Parked on a side street west of College around 17th street. It was easy in easy out and free, but a 5 minute walk. Also the bypass is a disaster at the I69 interchange if you’re coming from the south/west.

This!

(Said in matter of fact Coach Cig voice)

Park near Kirkwood. Eat and drink lots and then some more, and then get your lazy ***** in walking mode to 17th St for the game. It’s 1.5 miles for Crissakes!

Awesome article. I've always been a College Gameday fan. Have to think they will make an appearance in Bloomington before the season is over with. Best bet? Might be the 10/26 game against Washington. Georgia-Texas next weekend when Nebraska is in town. Alabama-LSU when Michigan plays IU. Not as many great games on the 26th.

We owe them for the 69-17 beat down in 1978. I think we were undefeated at the time. A total waste of my Saturday afternoon.

I was also there.

It was raining, a lot.

The game was on national TV back when it was a really big deal.

We were a popular upset pick among the media.

I don’t remember much, students also enjoyed themselves back then..LOL, but do remember that on EVERY play our OL and our DL was absolutely blown off the line by 5+ yards. It was a joke of a mis-match in the trenches.

It was a bad game but I’m sure the Bluebird, Peanut Barrel and/or a Walnut Knolls party cured my disappointment.

On his Sunday show Corso said he looked at the other side of the field and stated that  even their warmups were better than ours (his comedy routine probably bought him an extra year or two).

It’s only taken 46 years but we are getting sweet, sweet revenge this year.

WTF…time flies.
