Lindsay right now.  He'll play both 1 and 2.

Personally I'd like a real backup/bench point to go w/a big, don't really have a feel for Lindsay's ability to run point

Edit - I don't know much about his game on ball, have seen him classified as a PG and also just as a guard, averaged under 3 APG at Villanova, I take it a combo guard. I feel better about about where we are on ball after reading up on him, but still think we need another on ball guard - jmo

Doing some photo comps and I don't think it is. His mom is a redhead but I don't think that's her in the picture with the player.

Also the player in the pic doesn’t look 6’11” — last year Ruzic got an NBA combine visit and was measured to be 6’11”.

Bradshaw is the perfect 17-18 mpg big this team needs off the bench. He’s a quality depth piece and good enough to the point where you won’t fall off a cliff if Samet or Sherrell get hurt. His lack of development over the course of his career is concerning, but at this stage he is what he is and that’s more than competent for the role we need to fill the most.

Bradshaw to Tennessee State.

Only played 8 games this year. So he’ll basically be a freshman eligibility wise. Definitely a developmental person

Is he really a guard like they have him listed? I guess he would come cheap.

Players 12&13 are going to be developmental

I stand by what I said -- there are hundreds of players sitting at the end of bench because they haven't even shown they are capable of being a low major player.  We already have three freshman whom we don't know if they will be in the rotation -- if we have developmental players at the 12 and 13 positions then what you are saying is that we potentially have only eight players that could be valued as rotational players,

And this has been my position all along.   As much as the staff did favorably  early, their finishing plans leave a ton to be desired.   I’ll be absolutely shocked if Manhertz is anywhere close to contributing. Same with Karvala but to a lesser extent.  Hawthorne was this for Kentucky more or less last year.  Manhertz is producing pedestrian numbers against high school talent. Expecting that to translate against men immediately is foolish on the staff.  Too many smart people in the room not to know better.  That’s not to mention injury concerns.  Anyway, this has been my mantra since the “plans” were laid out to the fanbase.

Went to HS about 10 mins from me and saw them a couple of times over a couple of years. That kid is not even a break the glass big. He is a “Oh God, everyone to the bomb shelter now” big. Strictly cannon fodder for the white jerseys. But he’s not unathletic. If he’s scholly #13 and you want to see what you’ve got after a year of getting his a$$ whooped by Sherrell that’s ok with me. He’s probably got a better chance than Acimovic because he moves better. And the stroke’s alright.

I'm going to wait until the final pieces fall.  Personally, I doubt that Winker is there to earn a scholarship.  Last player we know that was brought in (Wang) has quite a bit more value than Winker.  Winker has more of a vibe of being a player that enters the portal and doesn't find a suitor.

I would hope that scholarship number 11 comes before 13.  There still is work to do with rotational players.

Fair.  Timing doesn’t indicate a preferred walkon and bigs very rarely take walk-on spots either.  All signs point to a back up big option.  I know people hate it, but Rabjohns (who is very friendly with Carr) said 2 of the last 3 we’re going to be practice guys.  This fits that.  And it’s a terrible idea now just as it was a terrible idea then.   Hopefully someone can think things over before final decisions are made.
