Yes they are.  He’s solid from what I’ve seen at Montverde this season. Him and Trent play well together.

Averaged 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.  Shot 48% from the field including 3.7 assists.  Son of NBA former NBA player and Miami assistant Malik Allen.  Chose Villanova over Tennessee and Georgia.

Background on Conor Enright.   Enright had the 17th-best assist rate in the nation this season according to KenPom.

If he’s here, he’s the starter…steady handed distributor with a ton of experience. Let the other spots be scorers

I wonder if the guy from East Tennessee would be a possibility for point guard? Think he’s from Gary originally, first name Oummari (sp?) iirc

Wondered this too, believe he played a few minutes in an ISU loss to Drake 2/2/22 while DeVries coached.

Wondering if he might have more than one year of eligibility left; he played 2 at ETSU but he should have his JUCO year back due to the Pavia decision and he only played 4 games for ISU in ‘21-‘22. Feels like you could get a waiver there.

If you can get 17-18 ppg out of Tucker and another 13-14 out of your 2 guard you're going to want a guy like Enright facilitating and distributing the ball.

Whenever I see Tucker I automatically think of Bryson Tucker. No way we're getting 17-18 ppg from him. I doubt he even stays.

I need to recondition myself to think DeVries when I see Tucker. It'll be easier when the other Tucker is gone.

Not thrilled about it, but time will tell. Definitely seems like we are being conditioned to this being our next point guard.

Well..  I think this kid starting is a bit much. Why wasn't he on DDv roster at WVU.... Furthermore the guards he had at WVU were significantly more athletes and bigger than Enright.

Watch the Florida guards.  The Auburn guards.

We need some guards like that.  Get some dawgs, DeVries.  I’ve been calling for this for about 16 years.  lol.

I hear ya Fleek.

You want guads

that are dawgs.

I want a least one

that has a vertical

.... like Keith.

I get that. I’m good with the facilitating. You think that athleticism and defense translates to B1G 10 ball?

I don't think he's an elite athlete no, but also don't think he's a defensive liability either. I think his instincts and toughness make up for that.

Portal isn’t even open yet and many good players won’t be in until after the second weekend. Based on DDV getting Small at WVU last year, I think he will prioritize a higher caliber guy than Enright. Like Enright off the bench, nice to have familiarity with his system on the roster if he does in fact come here.
