Is there any reason to believe he has been contacted by IU?

I very much prefer Federiko. Same size and skill set, but Federiko has put those numbers together entirely against P5 competition. Vander Baan had two years at P5 level and was unplayable there.

you have a great point! I was looking at his numbers from Lafayette only. Seemed like he looked to score a bit more than Federiko does. But you are right in that he didn't do much at BC.

No eligibility left.   Several others have done this as well but I haven't seen any sign that doesn't have eligibility left.  Probably hoping for a lawsuit to go through that would grant them another year, but as of now he's used his eligibility up.

Agreed. It's easy to say "I would be shocked..." about anyone visiting that is not said to have any other visits or favorites. IU has a lot of $ so any non big name that is still scheduling a visit with us most likely has some sort of understanding of what an offer and role would be. So at that point there's at least a 50% chance a guy like this would commit on the visit. That being said, I don't know anything about Jason Drake or who else is interested in him (St. John's?), but if he's visiting IU knowing who's already committed, there's a good chance we are his best outstanding offer.
