This is a direct quote from Mike Woodson’s introductory press conference. “The three-ball has changed the game, there’s no doubt about that. We have got to recruit players that can shoot the ball and pass and dribble be able to make plays for one another.”

No crap Einstein

Interesting Woodson keeps saying tonight. Does he not realize this was a mid-afternoon game? Should say today imo. Small thing for me to complain about lol

I can’t get a full game together.  We fight and fight but we got to make free throws.  Fish mentioned turnovers.  Eleven turnovers is where we want to be but Malik had 4 of those.  Got to get him playing at high level for us to win.  NW doesn’t make many turnovers.  Fish said IU shot the ball well.  Woodson:  Thank you.

Woodson is accustomed to afternoon nap.  It just throws everything off.

Northwestern's starting backcourt outscored Indiana's backcourt 40-15.

Not really a surprise... we knew that we had no B1G level guards... but it still sucks because Woodson ignored the problem during the recruiting cycle and left an open scholarship. Mike Woodson is the poster boy for incompetence...

12/21 from the free throw line not to mention missing the front end of a couple of 1 and 1’s.

The fact there seems to be no improvement on free throws is frustrating.  It's on the players and the staff.  Where is the effort?  Mgbako has gotten worse as the year has progressed.

Well, he finally got something right.  He’s been awful the last 3 or 4 games, IMO.  When he gets the ball, he’s a black hole, he’s got one thing on his mind and that doesn’t include passing the ball

ok it's time to fire Coach Woodson, he is an absolute terrible coach, great guy but bad coach. His teams play with no fire, sense of urgency, discipline, value of the ball or comprehension of the fundamentals of basketball.

Exactly!  There was a lose ball on the NW side of the court and we had 3 players closer to it than the NW guy but we just stood their and looked at it instead of diving on the floor.  That play totally sums up the poor effort this team plays with and no sense of urgency.  We have done that all season

Woodson is shaking hands like he won.

Moral victory! 4 point loss to a great NW team, especially after being down by 16 in the second half, is almost as good as a win.
