I guess. He has as many good games as Gunn so I don’t know why he’s been banished to the bench except that Woody is a dogmatic substitute guy.

Him and leal both play the “3” so he can’t have them both in together…or something

That's what stumps me. Unless he made the mistake of informing coaches he'd be portal-ing at the end of season and coaches would play others that haven't indicated that as of yet. Only thing that I could think of

Checked.

Out.

(not me; the basketball team)

I wonder who is responsible for leading them. They seem to be failing at leading.

Not his fault he was born with bricks for feet!

He’s not used correctly just like about all of them. Hope he gets a chance closer to home. IU is in a downward spiral.

1. In more than one post game interview players and coaches have admitted they didn't do what they were told to do on defense. I expect the same kind of performance tonight. When betting race horses their past races are pretty good indicators what they are and this IU team is pretty consistent in making defensive mistakes.

2. It may be hard to rebound made baskets tonight. Something tells me that OSU will be unconscious from the field, at home and needing a win. Plus they know they have a chance to beat this IU team.

3. Guys are NEVER PULLED for making turnovers, don't expect that to happen tonight either. It's short bench with little production. The TO total will be determined when IU decides do quit, like they seem to do too much.

4. Will not happen. See #2, I expect OSU to be hotter than a firecracker from the field.

5. 3 out 2 under. Same stuff different day. Lots of standing, dribbling then "look at my one on one NBA move". I look for Malik to be swarmed every time he touches the ball. Fouls will also be a factor on how long both Ware and Malik play together.

6. Based on past games that are lost ... they will break when things start to go poorly. They will not make D stops when need and just attempt to trade baskets. No timeouts will be called to break OSU's runs (every team has runs). Who knows, what they did last night might determine effort. They seem to like to party a lot. Do they have pre-game curfew on the road?

7. Same 5. Tell me one game the lineup changed due to poor effort.

I wasn't going to watch the game tonight after the PSU game was over. But I already have Peacock for other reasons than IU basketball and I am pretty bored today. I DO have more interest in watching Butler at Uconn on the other channel though so that will be my escape from another poor IU performance. I HOPE I AM WRONG but I don't have a lot of confidence in the team or staff when the wheels start to fall off.

LOL.  I think you've been right on every point so far.  Wishful thinking on my part that this team might progress.

Vegas just released the opening line for Saturday night.

Purdue -32.5

LOL!

I’m legit mad at myself for not being this game. Got busy at work and barely made it home in time and forgot about it.

I hope Matt Painter shows some compassion on Saturday for the downtrodden.

The record margin in the series is 41. Does Painter go for that or go for a comfortable 20-25 pt win that keeps Quinn and Co. from losing their mind/coming to their senses?
