Does Justin Albers do alot of drugs? Lol.

don't care what the NET rankings say - there is no way Ohio St. or Michigan St. should get in ahead of Indiana IMO. - Indiana: 19-13; 3 Quad 1 wins; 2-0 vs. Ohio State; 1-0 vs. MSU - Michigan St: 19-14: 3 Q1 wins; 0-1 vs. IU - Ohio St: 20-13; 3 Q1 wins; 0-2 vs. IU #iubb

This has nothing to do with how the committee picks teams. Indiana lost nine games by 12 or more points. 6 x 15 or more points. Michigan State beat Baylor. This isn’t a close argument and head to head matchups against other bubble teams do not factor into decision-making.

Michigan st is already projected to be in the field. Net ranking is probably what he is looking at and radio said last night because of our low net we had to win the big tournament to get in. We are far worse than our record

Those are good points.  They focus too much on the metrics.  Honestly, the true metrics that should be looked at are pretty much what you stated above.

Does word get out today or tomorrow or Monday on who enters the portal from our team?

Here is my final hope. The timing of iu announcement Woodson will be back was odd. Dolson didn't put his name directly on it. since the announcement things have changed. A couple wins but also lost a recruit and got blown out. Our only chance is if Woodson and Dolson talked and the plan was to publicly say he was returning so he could retire after the season lol. That better happen today or soon otherwise this conspiracy isn't happening

This is exactly why the entire season and metrics are put into place though. One team may have an advantage over another because of style of play. The entire season you a greater lens to look through. Would Indiana be favored against Ohio State today after the coaching change? Doubt it.

Don't get me wrong he is good and we're better with him. However if he can't play smarter we don't need him. To be the player we will need he can't foul every minute he is in. He also might want to work on passing out of the post. Lots of work to do. What this all means is if Woodson wants to be good he can't gamble on just him we need another quality big

If he gets another quality big, he will play both at the same time.  To me, Reneau should come off the bench.

If we have players dumping recruits early on visits so they can go to the bar....

So the same thing is, whether Dakich has the scoop or not, all of this is either observable or believable.  We don't have a serious program.  We have a trust fund nepo-baby program that has just about squandered all the family wealth on hookers and blow while simultaneously selling how competently they are running the family business (into the ground).

Woodson is a players coach, that’s why the inmates run the asylum.

I know Albers is delusional.

This.

Woodson is NOT a teacher of the game.  He is NOT a motivator. He is not a good assembler of rosters.  And he definitely is NOT an X's & O's master.  He is a manager of talent and his ability to win is completely dependant on having superior talent.

It appears to me that he needs vastly superior talent to just be competitive with really good teams.

We'll see if the gamble of trying to acquire a roster using a fool's fat checkbook succeeds.  My guess is we won't get the massive haul of studs CMW is counting on and however successful he is at it, he won't know how to use it.

This is spot on.

Mocked his cadence? I may have missed something but he was just “walked” out. It happens every time someone fouls out or gets ejected.

Some people need to just relax and make some attempt to be rational.

That wasn't the part of that tweet I was highlighting.  He is an old man with sports related stuff that makes his gaut look older.  I could not care less about that.  He quit last night though.  He quit in the last game, they are (thankfully for fans) quitting on the NIT, and in his press conference he was doubling down on needing to get more talent and explaining how his offense worked they just "missed shots".

He is lucky he has a billionaire donor or two willing to figuratively light their money on fire for him.  The fact the Simons are one of those families helps explain the Paxers relative futility over my lifetime as well.  Thank God I am not an NBA fan as I would probably be stuck in that "just make the playoffs" average @$$ attitude they have.  Which is basically what is going on at IU now too.  Just making the tournament is considered a win now which is why we are missing it most years.  There is no will or desire to push for greatness.  Just win enough to keep the morons spending their money.  The main ones being those who are about to get fleeced as they overspend to fill the roster for their "guy".

Ok let’s consider the reasona IU should keep Woodson. The reasons why not making the decision to move on, and give Woodson another year to try to right the ship is better for the program.

I got nothing

Now he knows to avoid the iceberg? Granted that's because he steered into it and now the ship is sinking.

Because Leal is personally happy because he's finally playing and getting paid, able to pay off his sisters loans.  He's happy because of woody.  A new coach might not play his one dimensional @$$ and he knows it.  So he needs woody here so he can have a good final year.   Maybe we should keep him here just for leals personal gain?

His sister might be going to graduate school soon.  Leal needs the good NIL money to pay for that.  Leal says chill on woody...hmm.

That was stated 5 minutes after the game ended not by Rabby but some other reporter. I want to say it was Osterman.

That's such a soft play. Woody "too good" to play in the NIT, where he'd like get a beat down by another mediocre program.

I think it’s more like we have to hit a homerun in the portal to salvage anything next year. Why waste time in the nit?

Lots of programs will do this. Ole Miss solved the same thing for Beard.
