No don't let them make the decision. Imagine though if you have a meeting with them and several say if he is forced out were done. Now you have a even bigger mess. I bet if they all said OK good riddance then that would make it easier

Players don't make the decision and they shouldn't be allowed to force your hand, that got us Mike Davis.

Upside of losing today is it keeps making Woody look terrible.  I’m so sick of him.  The more losses the worse he and his cronies look.

Completely true, but it has got to be hard on the players. Perfect world is Woody steps away and the team wins 4 or 5 of the last 7

That article was pretty damning, and I think the spin during the game backs up what Doyel reported.
It's all well deserved karma. I guess mentor ferguson never taught the king that you treat others as you want to be treated. He fired fife which he could do but then he had to leak info for a hit piece on fife. Low level stuff. Fife has taken the high road but I bet he has a grin on his face right now watching the king be dethroned. It's called karma king woodson.

That won't even happen. He will be 5-9 after Tuesday and he isn't winning 6 in a row after that

You know that, I know that, heck everyone on this board knows that but his delusional a** doesn’t know that.  He still thinks they are going to go on a run!  Heck he thinks he’s doing a good job coaching!  And he damn sure thinks he was untouchable and would be here as long as Mike Woodson wanted him to be here!

I read this from TheDailyHoosier pertaining to the Illinois game and to me, it sounds like he’s blaming the fans:

Play-by-play man Bill Raftery said that night “got to the soul” of Woodson.

The Hoosiers fell behind by 30 points in the first half against Illinois and IU suffered their second-worst loss ever inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

“All hell broke loose, and we just haven’t been the same,” Woodson said.

What difference does it make now because the season is already lost plus our assistants are horrible as well.

I think he evaluated hustle type of players well that worked at Dayton.  He needed players that could put up with his **** and type of style.  Same applies for Shaka who couldn’t get it to work at Texas.

Miller never understood the business side of basketball.  McKinley Wright had committed to Dayton when Archie was there and when Archie moved to Indiana, Miller advised Wright to stay committed to Dayton.  Wright decommitted and Miller didn't pursue him heavily. Kid killed it for four years at Colorado from the jump -- 14 pts, 4.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists as a freshman.

That’s fine.  Doesn’t mean my point isn’t wrong.  Woodson had the best talent of any coach and the easiest SOS and couldn’t do **** with it.

Well we didn't win today but at least he's gone at the end of the season, according to JY we have our next coach all but locked in, Clemson beat Duke, and Kansas State beat Kansas so overall not the worst basketball day for me. I feel for everyone who had the 3.5 spread and got the Leal Deal though lol

Not an Archie fan but I’ve been told multiple times Archie wasn’t allowed to make room for him
