Not sure where to post this but I’m pretty convinced SDB on Twitter is Xavier Johnson. He’s on Tony adragnas Twitter live right now and was on the hysterics yesterday.

It'd make sense that he'd love Woodson. He's probably exhibit A for the total lack of accountability.

What i am kind of alluding to is if tomorrow isnt going swell I am not sure the fans just chill. I think that is their hope. They are stupid imo. This entire retirement plan should have happened over the Christmas break when we were scraping by the cupcakes. A simple my health doesn't allow me to put the energy into this as it demands and moved on. Everyone could see we were in trouble. Now it's far worse and he will still be on the sideline. I think they believe the fanbase will rally around them now. I am not confident that will be the case. Woodson and his senior night comments and his inability to do this job is what fans are mad about. So how exactly does this fix that

I tend to agree with this... and as much as I'd like to see the team play well, I don't want anything about Woodson to rebound in a positive way. He's been a cancer since his return... and he's poured gasoline on the fire at every turn.

Regardless of how hard the team plays, Woodson is still managing the substitutions and the flow of the game...

With that said, I don't think the general fanbase is as heavily engaged in the muck and mire like many here are... they will probably be glad that he's leaving, and will not be too toxic and might even throw a golf clap in his direction ... but as you said, if things go south tomorrow (or in a future game), it could turn in that direction.

Do I have to leave this thread? It feels like it’s part of my family. Has everyone moved over to the candidate thread?

Nah, Chris... where you lead, we will follow.

I’m so confused on what we should do. I have nothing to ***** about now.

sure we will... we have at least 8 more games... there will be plenty of fodder for this thread... we don't have to "retire" him any more, but we can still b!tch about his coaching.

Wanted to start this thread the day he was hired. Still can't believe we chose to give him the keys.

Was basically ran off the other board when I took a huge dump on the hire. I could go back and start fights and point out how right I was but whatever, we all want the same thing. I don't blame people for choosing to have a rosy outlook but I saw this outcome a mile away.

We have 8 regular season games and potentially a BTT game, if we are lucky enough to make it.

This thread will still be getting plenty of action.

It may just be me talking to myself for 20 pages, but it will be rolling for another month or so. Lol... half kidding...

I won't leave you hanging, Jersey...

I saw Dakich on the warpath stumping for Alford on Twitter this afternoon so I had to say it.

Don’t do it Scott!

I will never forget during the last coaching change, I made a comment on one of his Tweets regarding the coaching change. I made a general comment about how Alford isn’t the right person for the job. The triple D (Di** Dan Dakich) bashed me for putting words in his mouth and then blocked me lol.
Dude, I was just commenting but he’s been on the Alford high horse for a long time. Dude’s a clown that abuses his platform with his kindergarten attitude. Gets butt hurt at the drop of a hat.

Since you didn’t agree with me I’m blocking you, Dan Dakich style :)

You are 100% correct!

I still can't believe anyone thought he would work out. I get it they wanted to try and think it could because we were stuck with him. But deep down they had to know it was a massive stretch. The history of nba hires is a miserably failure in the ncaa. And this one had zero college experience. Plus he was old and lazy. Will go down asthe most baffling iu hire of them all.

Well the only reason i bought in was the roles Thad Matta and Dane Fife were playing in this and even that, I was still curious to see how it was going to work.  When he fired Fife and Marta’s role became insignificant and then he left, I sorta of knew then and started to become skeptical.  Mike Woodson was starting to show his true colors and everything snowballed from there.  MW wasn’t a good person and his sense of entitlement and arrogance really truly turned me off him.  He wasn’t worth $200 k / year and yet they paid him over $4 million/year.  What a freaking rip off.
