Stated as a fact to get clicks, but really is his opinion.  In other words, best case to end this is a retirement vs. a firing.

I think it's a travel day for Jerry....sounds like we'd hear from him maybe later today? i'm going to trust in his words from last night and @Chris007's confidence and say this is coming to an end soon....even if we have to still watch him on the sideline a few more weeks.

 This truly is shaping up to be an absolutely fantastic day.  I can't remember when the board as a whole has been this upbeat.  There's no way we'll ever know the full details of how Dolson and President Whitten got this done but they did.  Going upstream against the president of the BOT who also has a number of high $$ donors in his pocket could just as easily been career enders especially for Scott.  I'm truly optimistic for what our basketball future holds.  GO HOOSIERS!

The IU women have a home game tonight and while IU-Rutgers women doesn't move the needle for a lot of people -- I would think Dolson wouldn't want to steal their thunder. 

Yes, I realize that the Woodson retirement/departure talk permeates all IU athletics at this point -- but I still think Dolson, etc., would want to leave today's stage to the women. 

I've been wrong many a time, so I could be about this as well. Just a rando thought that struck me, however.
