Make a decision based on the results to date and the long term benefit of the program?!!? Good lord; unless you’re talking about who the replacement will be, it’s way way WAY past the time for that. The verdict is in. The jury has spoken. The evidence is irrefutable, extensive, and complete, and the results of the Mike Woodson era are that it will not continue beyond, at most, the end of the season. The verdict was out last year. he must have appealed to a higher court, LOL Home Jersey 1

You seem to think this is a recent issue with IU, and it’s far from that. But it’s not the process, it’s the leadership. If you have insight into IU, this isn’t revelatory. I think people would be more inclined to sign on to these esoteric posts if you were straightforward enough to also agree with and clearly state the obvious; that Mike Woodson has been a failure as the head coach and that he will be replaced very soon, at the latest at the end of this season. Look at the landscape of college and pro sports and provide examples of interim coaches, appointed after a coach was fired for performance, succeeded. Ed Orgeron was hired at USC after Pat Haden blew out Lane Kiffin, but his tenure there was short-lived. Temporary fixes are just that - it’s baling wire and duct tape. Dude, that is the very definition of Interim. go iu bb, PartyintheVillas, VFury and 1 other 4

We see it with Kathy, but also Woody (true fans), some of the players (y'all need to chill), Tyme, SDB, and a few other posters with some program connection on various boards Interestingly, as you note, the fans are one of the best things IUBB still has going for it... that and NIL. IUBB has been a mess for a long time, but this is a new low. This program is so incapable of taking responsibility they'll even point fingers at the fans... the fans that are somehow, after 25 years of terrible basketball, still caring, donating, and cheering for any sort of reasonable effort. My old boss had a saying -- "Business would be great without customers." You get rid of the fans and there are no expectations. Pagoda, Juwan Moye, VFury and 2 others 4 1

Bob Knight was hired before any current processes and people were put into place. Also, a single data point is not conclusive evidence. Citing Bob Knight is an appeal to emotion in this argument. By saying that the process is the same that hired Bob Knight, you have completely outed yourself as not an insider. You are another anonymous internet troll with opinions and agendas. No, the Bob Knight hire was a team effort (Bill Orwig and John Ryan, primarily, with the assistance of a few other key people, all of whom are no longer with us). Quite clear you don’t have the slightest idea about that or this situation. Juwan Moye 1
