What difference does it make now because the season is already lost plus our assistants are horrible as well.

I think he evaluated hustle type of players well that worked at Dayton.  He needed players that could put up with his **** and type of style.  Same applies for Shaka who couldn’t get it to work at Texas.

Miller never understood the business side of basketball.  McKinley Wright had committed to Dayton when Archie was there and when Archie moved to Indiana, Miller advised Wright to stay committed to Dayton.  Wright decommitted and Miller didn't pursue him heavily. Kid killed it for four years at Colorado from the jump -- 14 pts, 4.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists as a freshman.

That’s fine.  Doesn’t mean my point isn’t wrong.  Woodson had the best talent of any coach and the easiest SOS and couldn’t do **** with it.

Well we didn't win today but at least he's gone at the end of the season, according to JY we have our next coach all but locked in, Clemson beat Duke, and Kansas State beat Kansas so overall not the worst basketball day for me. I feel for everyone who had the 3.5 spread and got the Leal Deal though lol

Not an Archie fan but I’ve been told multiple times Archie wasn’t allowed to make room for him

Sounds like a win-win situation!

Yep, I am not a fan of Duke, only time I'd apathetically want them to win is against Kentucky and that's only because both teams can't lose when playing each other. Someone has to win so Duke it is lol and I partied a lot at K State when I was stationed at Fort Riley. Met some awesome people and I have a lot of love for that place. I'm excited to find out who our new coach will be so no real attachment for me for the rest of this season, I'm considering it a wash. They can do whatever they want because it will be a fresh start for our program next season :D

I think we all are looking forward to a fresh start.  He’s made us the laughing stock of the B10 and CBB but his delusional a** doesn’t see it, he’s done his job!  lol!
As I was watching the game with a friend at Chili’s today, I seen the same old sh*t in the first half, but the 2nd half this team played with fire and actually MW made some odd adjustments and I was thinking to myself, why didnt your stubborn a** do this much earlier.  I found myself sort of interested in them actually trying to win.  Now every lose just justifies MW leaving but I actually want them to win for the players and university.  It was the first time this year I’ve felt like that and it must be because MW is finally leaving and I do want them to win!  GO HOOSIERS!!!!

Anybody else hear the announcers (Spero and Rafferty) when they said that Woodson gave them the many reasons for his retirement but asked them not to repeat them.

I'm intrigued as to what he told them.

Yeah... not the least bit interested in Woodson's spin. He's screwed the pooch at every opportunity, burned bridges all along the way and now he's looking for sympathy.

Yeah I go back to the story that he refused to talk to the IU Ladies team and Cig stepped in..

Later, I thought.. I bet Teri Moren was relieved as Cig knows WTF he is doing...

All facts. I feel good rooting for them because I know Woodson is gone at the end of the season. We played well in the second half and sadly we couldn't pull out the win but I wasn't too surprised, Woodson doesn't know how to finish out games and hasn't taught the team how to either. That's one of my biggest frustrations with this season. We're getting blueballed so hard because apparently finishing is really difficult for Woody(surprise surprise lol). No matter how well we do, we're getting closed out on at the end of every game.

Yes I just watched the second half and i don't care. Nobody wants to hear what he has tp say imo. He will just come across bitter and pathetic.

Again if he had poured his heart and soul into this and just failed it would be one thing. But he didn't. He was lazy and arrogant.

Not saying I would believe, I'm just interested in all these reasons he lists. Curious if he is going to go down the "woe is me path" or actually man up and own his failures.

Woodson went to two tournaments going 2-2. That’s miles better than anything lil’ Archie did. Woody is currently 3-4 against Purdue teams that were better than the Purdue teams Archie went 0-fer against.

I’m shocked to find Archie defenders are still around.
