The difference is I don’t believe that at all. Time will tell. 

Woody Is the same coach he’s been for 20 years. Not a very good one. He has every advantage a coach could have and still isn’t competent.

I’m sure with the money at his disposal there is a chance he can buy enough talent to make the top 25. Maybe.

If it’s true and IU keeps Woodson, it just confirms what people outside the IU fan base know: IU is a bottom P5 sports school and basically irrelevant nationally. And before people bring up any non-revenue sports IU is good in, there are two sports 95% of fans care about. And IU has been a non factor in both the last two decades, save a season or two.

I think it’s been so long since IU basketball really mattered that people have just come to expect incompetence. And IU doesn’t disappoint.

Well if we're stuck with him hopefully he can buy enough for a championship. That should be our standard. This is possibly worst feeling I have had ad a iu fan

Been that way for 30 years unfortunately.  People within and around this program won’t get out of the way.  They’re either incompetent or they’re deliberately tanking the program.  Regardless, I’ll read the box scores, news and be on forums, waiting to see if they ever decide to take this program seriously but I won’t be holding my breath and I won’t be investing anymore money.  The women’s basketball program will still get my support, as well as the other sports.

I could care less about next year at this point. I will root for Galloway st his new school. If we ever get a new coach I will start watching again. It will be comical though watching Woodson scramble this spring trying to field a team.

Booing and writing emails is great and all but if you really want to show our gutless admin how unacceptable this is you have to stop going to the games, buying merchandise, renewing season tix, etc. There's no other way. 

We deserve so much better than this and it isn't even funny. What a f'ing joke IU Men's Basketball has become. Absolutely pathetic.

Midwestern fan bases are loyal breed. Unfortunately in this case the administration is absolutely taking advantage of it.
