Since this is the most read thread right now, I’d ask that as many of you tune into the IU vs Purdue women’s game tomorrow at noon, on BTN. Game is a sellout, would love to break some viewership records for B1G women’s teams

Don't worry, there's plenty of us.

I tried getting tickets the morning after attending the Iowa game. Have tickets to the NCAA first round already thanks to my Son who's there now for the game tomorrow. This team could win the whole thing, especially if someone upsets South Carolina.Head to head that's the only team I really don't want to see them play.

GO LADY HOOSIERS !!!

I didn’t really know what to expect this season but if you had told me that after 16 games we could have been tied for first in the Big Ten, if only we had swept NW instead of being swept, I would have laughed in your face.

Considering the guys that left his team, barring a collapse Collins should be BT coach of the year.

I tend to think hoops should be fun to play and watch and Walton makes them fun. Totally get that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he’s sooooooooooooooooooo much better than the actually bad and boring analysts like Bardo
We will agree to disagree. Can't stand Bardo, but I'll listen to him before Walton.

For a beer and/or bong, and the stories,  I’d find Walton fun to hang out with for a night.

That being said, I don’t want him as the color analyst for any game I remotely care about.

Hot take if im IU im not playing TJD at Purdue.    IU isn’t winning the conference and that game is a bonus game that isn’t going to hurt your seeding if you get beat.   He needs some rest and that is what I would personally do even if he wanted to play

I see Malik grabbing more of his minutes these next 2 games

Agreed!  Not only is she awesome on the court, but she's never showed up to a men's game in the opposing section while cheering for the most obnoxious player in the Big Ten

@Josh you’ve earned elite status with that comment, much respect!

Love it!! One of the first women’s games I attended under Coach Jack. I sat literally one row behind the bench, and the place was empty. Another time, the lady behind me crocheted the entire game, didn’t watch at all. Our women’s basketball forum used to be 5 or 6 of us, lol, now it’s thriving. Such an exciting time! Back to celebrating the downing of the dreaded Illini!

I just looked and 3 of Pukes last 4 games are at home against OSU/IU/IL with 1 road game at Wisconsin.  It would take an epic collapse for them to not win the conference (it also helps them that NW has to go to MD, IL and Rutgers)

I’d just  assume they win it before playing us

That was an ugly win, but a win that I will gladly take.  I am not sure Indiana deserved to win it.  Missed FTs.  Bad turnovers.  Looked like our feet were in concrete for a good part of the game.  But they found a way to win.  I think Woodson has done a good job these last few games of getting the most out of them.

If you were going to rest a player, seems to me it would make more sense to do so in the conference tournament.

personally, I wouldn’t sit him out of Purdue game or conference tournament.          You can manage his minutes in the Purdue game ic score dictates it and you can in the big ten tournament even if score doesn’t dictate it.  Also, **** Purdue.

Very few.

And Langford is an elite athlete who could get to the rim any time he wanted in college. JHS gets backed up by mediocre big ten defenders. Pros will bet they can teach a Langford to shoot; they know they can’t turn an average athlete into a great one.

Props to JHS for never giving up and coming up big at the end. But  I would be praying the scouts don’t get this tape if I were him, though. Same with NW.

Four years later and the pros still can’t teach Langford to shoot.  Langford’s athleticism gave him a higher floor than Schifino, but drafting him 14th was a mistake.  Pros are much more interested  in a guy’s highlight tape than lowlight one.

at the end of the day, he is still starting five guys who are in their third or fourth year.  Painter is starting two freshman guards.

I thought it was a flop but not a 'ffllllooopppp' that the NCAA supposedly polices.  Thought with the amount of contact that seems to get allowed, that's a no call.

To you and str8baller.. He started falling, 6" before Kopp got close to him. MAJOR flop and his facial reaction afterwards confirmed it. he knew he just won an enema award.

no doubt.. Walton is like.. "and they dribble past mid point line, which reminds me of a 1972 subaru I had that I took surfing one time, well  I actually took it more than one time, but it was this one time that I am talking about". ,,,,  blah blah blah..
