I’m sorry and some will disagree, no offense to Race I think we’re better with him than not, but not like this, not starting and taking the bulk of minutes at the 4. Malik still has work to do to learn how to avoid fouling (though refs are just crap tn), and JG has been up and down, but we played a Hell of a lot better, tougher, quicker, more in your face ball during our strong run with JG and Race.

Agree wholeheartedly. Loyalty at the expense of the group isn’t loyalty

But it was really irrelevant tonight since JG was a no go.  The amount of minutes that Ya played Thompson over JG at Minnesota was puzzling, but we haven't had a chance to see how Woodson will manage it since the five game win streak.

Greenberg was right. The extended defense made us throwing the ball all over the place and caused us to be way outta sync. No 10 second calls but generally only 18 seconds to set the offense all night. Recipe for disaster.

More than anything, that's why we miss X.  In a game like tonight, JHS more than likely would have been on the bench for long streches.  But JHS wasn't playing well and Galloway -- who isn't a natural point guard anyway -- was in foul trouble all game.

Good point, no pun intended

I know we won 5 games in a row and a couple on the road and looked real solid….but this is still the 1-4 team too. We are a weak team. Maryland is not good. They don’t have any good shooters and their defense is soft and yet we looked confused, flustered, and weak.

TJD and Jalen, our two star players looked scared and not ready to play. That kinda tells you that this team isn’t likely going to do anything except maybe eek into the tourney. This team doesn’t have the mental ability to play with expectations or pressure.

Will be hoping for a hot AH on Saturday. Beating ranked teams at home is about the only thing this team is likely to achieve this year.

Won't be a popular opinion, but this is what happens when you have a player who's thinking more about his draft stock than what needs to be done to win the game.

Yep 0 reason a player should have more shots than TJD unless that player is on fire

Well hell, everyone eventually leaves.  So every team has problems.

Other teams take 3 stars and turn them into quality starters after a couple years.  We can’t get upper classmen 4 stars to contribute consistently
