On the other hand , although he said the “right thing” his words don’t mean much to me as he averaged 6.8 points last year and a couple of the 2023 NBA draft projections I looked at don’t have him as a 1st or 2nd rounder. Who knows, but I have a guess, what his take would have been if he had been a sure fire lotto pick last year? I’d bet he would have said “bye bye” to UCONN. EDIT: I just saw another draft site that is projecting him to go in the 2023 second round as the 55th pick. Far cry from having to pass up draft lottery cash but just updating that one of the services does have him in the second.

With what the other B1G teams lost and what IU was bringing back that made sense at the time. Before Johnson went down they were tracking as a top 4 seed. For myself I thought they would compete for a B1G title when fully healthy but now that that is off the table I still think they could and should finish 2-7 range which would be better then the program has done in along time Chris007 1

One guy getting there. Two guys playing at his max potential. And the rest who look completely lost. So bad, it's almost as if we'd be better playing a man or two down at times. Uspshoosier 1

I’ll be disappointed if it takes nearly out of the tourney because I’m not sure it should.
