He does seem like a solid guy though, and I have no problem with him hanging around and promoting the program. As sad as it is he’s our most successful coach since Knight and doesn’t seem to be headed back to coaching any time soon, so it kind of makes since for him and IU to keep some cordial connection. Kind of reminds me of Faust and ND football back in the day.

Malik is just plain awesome as a player and human being imo.  Super talented kid that plays with a passion and has a little fun all the while.  He’s a TJD like ambassador without the bounce and home state affiliation.
