Indiana vs Undue Purversity, Thursday, 7:00 pm

Here's what bothers me most: 4 years ago, a top 5 Purdue team came into Assembly Hall to face a rebuilding IU with a new coach. We wondered how we could hang with them because we couldn't match their size and we struggled to hit shots. 

 

Now, 4 years later, a top 5 Purdue team comes into Assembly Hall to face a rebuilding IU with a new coach. We're wondering how we can hang with them because we can't match their size and we struggle to hit shots.

Difference between the team 4 years ago and now is this years team didn't get their doors blown off at home by 2 separate in state low major schools and this years team is 13-4, plays much harder, and is much more competitive. We can't do much about Purdue genetically engineering 7 footers in a lab beneath campus lol

Yeah, I'm much happier with what we've had so far compared to all the garbage we got from that loser who used to coach here. I'm just really ******* tired of losing to Purdue. 

 

We all loved the Cody Zeller/Yogi Ferrell years, but let's be regal for a moment. Remember when both IU and Purdue were fairly non-descript teams, but we could always count on beating them because we were at home? God, I miss that.

I know that we will have a good game plan going into Thursday.  What worries me is a guy like Sasha will come in and light it up.  For some reason we have no answer for guys like this.

Oh yeah I'm sick and tired of losing to them too I think we can do it Thursday. I just think the program is in a healthier spot than it was 4 years ago even if it is Woody's first season

At every Crossroads Classic, Butler and Notre Dame fans are typically cordial.  Now, the Summer's Eve (also known as ****** bag) fans are the only ones who like to pick a fight.  Probably because of their sucky record in the classic and they are always butt hurt by the 2nd game.

They aren't the same games for Purdue. Whether any of us like to admit it or not, the guys going out on the court have brought the most pathetic amounts of energy to Purdue games I've seen over careers. Maybe it'll change, the more likely thing is that it won't.
